This hotel is an absolute gem located in a lovely area about 10 minutes drive from Hann airport. The entire staff were extremely pleasant from Sina at reception to the ladies in the restaurant food excellent and peace a quiet in the locality was Devine

Karrenberg was just what we needed after the larger cities. We had rented an auto so it's remote location was more than worth it. The free breakfast buffet would make any room price a bargain. The restaurant prices are more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food served. In one month of travels we had our absolutely meals there. The menu is German only but our two best dishes were the "bacon wrapped checken" and a pork dish listed under "Karrenberg Favorites". The beef dish was good but very typical, nothing special. Stay here for excellent food, service, and peace and quiet.

Was only here for 6 hours to lay my head down but the service was prompt. Whilst the hotel was a little out the way it was easy to find and reasonably priced. Ideal for people flying into Hahn airport.

Nice country hotel, if you plan however to wake up ealy next morning, watch out for overnight parties! In my case, I was relocated two times (at my request, of course, they seem not to have thought about it) until I ended up in a room a little smelly (but at least I could sleep).

Check in war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber Mitarbeiter dann sehr nett. Hotel ist schon etwas älter, sieht man an einigen Stellen. Familienzimmer war ok, aber Bad sehr klein für 4 Personen und die Dusche ist mal wieder ein Sauberkeitsproblem. Ein Fenster im Schlafraum war nicht mit Rollo (schwierig, wenn die Kinder schlafen sollen) Restaurant war sehr stylisch und Essen sehr lecker. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und nett. Spielplatz ist mehr als jedes andere Hotel mit Spielturm, Schaukel und Fußballtor. Gegend ist aber sehr schön ruhig und super zum Wandern.

Trotz einer Hochzeitsfeier, wurden alle Hotelgäste hervorragend bedient - die Speisekarte war zwar aufgrund der Feier recht kurz gehalten, aber es gab von Allem etwas und dies in bester Qualität.

Einrichtung der Zimmer ist ok. Das Bad war sauber, allerdings könnte manches, wie z.B die Halterung der Dusche und des Föns wieder instand gesetzt werden. Das Personal war freundlich und nett.
