Wellnesshotel Hohenrodt

Very friendly welcome and pleasant room. However the noise from the lift was very unwelcome and went on until midnight. We were in room 41 first after reception and also had noise from other guests as they passed our door. Otherwise a very nice hotel and lovely buffet dinner and breakfast.

The hotel is full of old people who are not happy at all to see younger families or people from other countries who do not understand German. Very grumpy people (including reception and restaurant/breakfast) and not polite. Do not smile, do not apologise or say thank you. Also, do not answer if you said thank you. They constantly stare at you and check all your moves. Is really creepy. That's a shame for this behaviour because the area is extraordinary. I've been told that children can't go in the pool before 2 afternoon and 4 afternoon, because there are people in the hotel with very stressful jobs who went there to relax . The food options are very limited and you need to sit at at certain tables for breakfast that they allocated you when you first checked in

Modern hotel, soulless if efficient

The service was friendly and welcoming. The room was not so good. Quite small. bed was comfortable. Shower was very small but with plenty of hot water. no refrigerator. poor amenities. In the shower there is one dispenser with some liquid that is a one-for-all (shampoo conditioner and soap). It is very diluted and of poor quality. No slippers in the room. That created a problem because on the floor there was a terrible disgusting dirty carpet. It was a terrible feeling walking barefoot on the dirty carpet with a feeling if disgust. The towel was of poor quality and very thin. why? TV was of poor quality, old and bad reception. The promise English channels like CNN but it does not work and there are only some German speaking channels. When soap ran out the housekeeping did not replace it 2 days and I had to use my own soap and finally ask reception to give me a new one because they did not replace the empty container in the room. Such poor housekeeping is unacceptable. The doors are thin and soundproofing is terrible. When another guest walks by and talks you hear everything and it wakes you up from the noise. Breakfast OK. But coffee of poor quality. Buns were fresh but bread seemed old and dry. Why not put fresh bread every morning? No fresh juice. Not enough parking space outside the hotel. All in all a friendly yet problematic hotel for the reasons mentioned above.

Tolles ruhiges Hotel, guter Wellness-Bereich, gute Küche. Ganz tolle Familiensuits, aber sonst für Familien mit Kindern weniger geeignet, da strickte Badezeiten und keine Spielplätze oder so. Seitlicher Friedhofsblick....

Een mooie verzorgde accomodatie, de spa was goed, verzorgd en schoon. Het personeel vond ik correct maar erg plichtmatig en soms wat onpersoonlijk.

Zimmer ok, stilmässig nicht up to Date

Super Wellnessbereich, tolles Frühstück mit riesiger Auswahl. Nur Aufbackbrötchen

Mooie, nette hotel. Binnenzwembad, binnenbubbelbad. 4 verschillende sauna's. Fitnessruimte. Massage's, e.d. Eet gelegenheden ook goed. Vriendelijk personeel

Der Pool und der Whirlpool waren wirklich toll. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut.

Empfang war nicht so angenehm. Doe Dame war eohl etwas im Zeitdruck und dan kamen wir…

Das Hotel ist toll. Die Einrichtung in unserem Appartment war zum Teil schon sehr alt und abgewohnt.

Schickes Hotel. Schöner Wellness Bereich. Zimmer sind gut.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au niveau hôtelier. Le bémol viens d'un sauna en panne sans information à la clientèle, ainsi que d'une partie de cette même clientèle qui s'est affranchie des règles d'hygiène et de nudité dans un espace sans textile, surtout le 1er jour. Mais peut-être qu'un affichage des règles plus visible améliorerait ce petit point de déception que nous avons partagé oralement avec d'autres utilisateurs de cet espace bien être. Le sauna en panne a été remis en service dans les 24 heures, ce qui nous a réjouis. Nous reviendrons au Wellnesshotel Hohenrodt, surtout que nous avons découvert à proximité une forêt très agréable pour les sorties pédestres :-))
