We paid a pretty reasonable price for this beaitiful hotel. Facilities are new and clean. The spa is small but very nice , they only take 6 people per time. The hotel is not in the seafront as I thought but it has its own sun loungers/bar services at the rethymno beach which is one small block away. We had half board booking and the breakfast buffet was very good with great variety of food. Dinner buffet was okay, not the best food we've had in hotel buffets but also not terrible. I believe it to be fair for the price we paid. The area around is really nice, with restaurants, cafes, shops along the beach and only 10min walk to Rethymno old town. Parking was a bit difficult at times but manageable if you follow the greek rules of parking which is none 😂 Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel and its services. They even offered some entertainment at the bar area during the weekend. It was just a shame that the pool was not heated enough for kids to be able to swim more comfortably/often. (We went during Easter).

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The hotel itself was excellent – the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area is a hidden gem in Europe. There are incredible restaurants offering what feels like 5‑star Michelin meals at budget prices, and the beaches directly outside the sister hotel, Bio Beach Hotel, are perfect for a lazy day in the sun. That said, there were a couple of small issues. The location of the hotel felt a little cramped, and the lift getting stuck a few times was unsettling, especially for my 12‑year‑old son. The dining options at the hotel also felt repetitive, and the buffet closing at 9:30pm seemed too early for guests who prefer a later dinner. Despite these minor drawbacks, this is a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. With a little more variety in the dining and some improvements to the lift, it could easily be perfect. ⭐ Rating: 4/5

Nice room, great pool and a huge big breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we went when it was holidays so lots of people and kids but it was still really great. They had a live culture band which where mesmerising and 6 dancers which was really special! We loved our stay.

We had a great stay, the room was comfortable, the pool lovely and HEATED a massive bonus in April. Food was always tasty, but could be busy with a bit of elbow barging by some of the other guests! A couple of small details could be improved - the gym was closed which was a shame, there was no notice of this. Our room was se up for 3 rather than four, and the kettle didn't work. The WiFi was good, but sometimes intermittent. Despite these minor issues, we had a great time and would definitely book again.

Ein sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Hotel. Wir, Familie mit zwei volljährigen Kindern, haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in einem Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmer mit einem Blick auf den Pool verbracht. Das Apartment war gross, schön und sauber, genau wie auf den Fotos. Das Personal war sehr professionell und zuvorkommend, sowohl im Restaurant als auch an der Rezeption. Frühstücks- und Abendessen ist lecker und abwechslungsreich. Aufgrund des Coronavirus gab es am Buffet keine Selbstbedienung mehr. Stattdessen wurden wir vom Personal bedient. Das Abendessen war typischer Weise von griechischem Essen geprägt, während das Frühstück weniger lokal war. Von den Desserts kann ich vor allem die Baklava empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, zentral und auch ruhig. Der eigene Sandstrand mit Sonnenliegen (kostenpflichtig) ist etwa 2 Gehminuten entfernt, die schöne Altstadt etwa 10 Min. Die Corona Massnahmen werden sehr ernst genommen: Händedesinfektionmittel steht überall, das Personal mit Masken, Abstand usw. Das WiFi funktioniert und ist nichts Besonderes. Das Abendprogramm gibt es jeden Abend und für jeden Wochentag ist etwas anderes geplant. Es ist mehr oder weniger amüsant. Der Poolbereich ist sauber, jedoch haben wir uns entschieden, ihn nicht zu nutzen und stattdessen im Meer zu baden, welches warm war. Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze, doch ist es möglich in der Nähe gratis auf der Strasse zu parken, sofern man einen freien Platz finden kann.

We are missing this hotel already! The location is fantastic and is only a two minute walk to the beach and roughly ten minute walk to shops, bars and restaraunts. The hotel staff were always welcoming and friendly and offered advice whenever needed. Our welcome was met with some offers as well as a free massage which was really lovely! Breakfast was nice with good options though almost the same everyday. The hotel provided a discounted buffet dinner which was excellent also. The room is a good size and has everything you need for a bed and breakfast stay. Our balcony looked out onto the road which was occasionally noisy earlier than expected but it wasn't much of an issue. Rooms have a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle etc and the air con is good quality! The hotel has its own private beach area for loungers and umbrellas, which we personally preferred to the pool. The pool was a good size but the beach had more of a breeze (way more bearable). The gym has the basics for a workout and the bar offers good drinks. Rooms always cleaned superbly and beach towels available to be swapped every three days seemed reasonable. We didn't realise quite how perfect the hotel would be or it's significance in the area. Genuinely wouldn't stay anywhere else when we come back to rethymnon.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bio Suites. Beautiful hotel with lovely big apartments. In a good location with an easy 20 min stroll into town. The people on the front desk were really helpful. We had bother with the toilet flushing and a new part was installed straight away. The one negative was the buffet breakfast could have been warmer, eggs, bacon etc, but you could say that about buffet breakfasts in most hotels.

Bio hotel is within easy walking distance of all the sites and tastes of Rethmynon's old town. The pool is great but it's only a slip to a great beach, which is even more fun when the waves are coming in. Is recommend it to anyone as it's good value and it seems the staff can't do enough to make your stay a great one.

Frühstücks- und Abendessen ist lecker und abwechslungsreich. Aufgrund des Coronavirus gab es am Buffet keine Selbstbedienung mehr. Stattdessen wurden wir vom Personal bedient. Das Abendessen war typischer Weise von griechischem Essen geprägt, während das Frühstück weniger lokal war. Von den Desserts kann ich vor allem die Baklava empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, zentral und auch ruhig. Der eigene Sandstrand mit Sonnenliegen (kostenpflichtig) ist etwa 2 Gehminuten entfernt, die schöne Altstadt etwa 10 Min. Die Corona Massnahmen werden sehr ernst genommen: Händedesinfektionmittel steht überall, das Personal mit Masken, Abstand usw. Das WiFi funktioniert und ist nichts Besonderes. Das Abendprogramm gibt es jeden Abend und für jeden Wochentag ist etwas anderes geplant. Es ist mehr oder weniger amüsant. Der Poolbereich ist sauber, jedoch haben wir uns entschieden, ihn nicht zu nutzen und stattdessen im Meer zu baden, welches warm war. Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze, doch ist es möglich in der Nähe gratis auf der Strasse zu parken, sofern man einen freien Platz finden kann.

We are missing this hotel already! The location is fantastic and is only a two minute walk to the beach and roughly ten minute walk to shops, bars and restaraunts. The hotel staff were always welcoming and friendly and offered advice whenever needed. Our welcome was met with some offers as well as a free massage which was really lovely! Breakfast was nice with good options though almost the same everyday. The hotel provided a discounted buffet dinner which was excellent also. The room is a good size and has everything you need for a bed and breakfast stay. Our balcony looked out onto the road which was occasionally noisy earlier than expected but it wasn't much of an issue. Rooms have a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle etc and the air con is good quality! The hotel has its own private beach area for loungers and umbrellas, which we personally preferred to the pool. The pool was a good size but the beach had more of a breeze (way more bearable). The gym has the basics for a workout and the bar offers good drinks. Rooms always cleaned superbly and beach towels available to be swapped every three days seemed reasonable. We didn't realise quite how perfect the hotel would be or it's significance in the area. Genuinely wouldn't stay anywhere else when we come back to rethymnon.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bio Suites. Beautiful hotel with lovely big apartments. In a good location with an easy 20 min stroll into town. The people on the front desk were really helpful. We had bother with the toilet flushing and a new part was installed straight away. The one negative was the buffet breakfast could have been warmer, eggs, bacon etc, but you could say that about buffet breakfasts in most hotels.

Bio hotel is within easy walking distance of all the sites and tastes of Rethmynon's old town. The pool is great but it's only a slip to a great beach, which is even more fun when the waves are coming in. Is recommend it to anyone as it's good value and it seems the staff can't do enough to make your stay a great one.
