Chora Resort Hotel & Spa

Hotel was fabulous, little bungalows off the pool deck.staff was very helpful.Breakfast was satisfactory. Fologandos is such a beautiful island. We loved the location of this hotel. Lots of restaurants with wonderful food.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast options repetitive and a lack of fresh fruit. Rooms in need of upgrade. Also suggest a name change, as there is no Spa

The property is dated, could do with some maintenance- especially the rooms, bathrooms. It is very close to Chora and as such very conveniently located. However it is too expensive for what it was.

Hotel absolutely lovely. Service was excellent, pool area large, clean and beautiful, food great. Room immaculate, spacious and comfortable, bathroom well lit and well stocked - honestly probably the best value for money I’ve ever had from a hotel

This hotel was wonderful. It was small so even when it was full you did not feel like it was over crowded. The pool area is beautiful. And the hotel is steps from the town making it easy to walk in for meals or to shop. It was a little way from the port but the front desk arranged all our transports to and from. Everyone was so nice and we really felt comfortable and relaxed.

The property is well located. The balcony in the room had a beautiful view on the village and the mountains. The room and the property was clean but we had a problem with ants in the room. The staff came immediately to clean it but the ants came back the day after.

Fabulous hotel with a fantastic location walking distance to the beautiful village and its restaurants and little shops.

Everything from start to finish was perfect! The hotel and grounds are attractive and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was varied and plentiful. We also appreciated the complimentary transfer from the port to the hotel. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Very well located with easy walking access to the town. Our room was pleasant and spacious, although the bathroom was rather dated. However the pool area is the star feature, and added a lot to the enjoyment of our stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Gorgeous small hotel. Peaceful, idyllic paradise.

Wonderful facility and location. Very short walk to the busiest part of Chora while being quiet and intimate. Plentiful surrounding food options. People in town and resort were welcoming and knowledgeable. Car rental was next door.

The service of this hotel is very lacking. They will not work with you for anything - death of immediate family member; canceled ferry; etc. They are unwilling to even meet customers half way. Book the Chora Resort and be ready to lose money!

Lovely small hotel, very clean, great pool. Convenient location for Chora restaurants and bus stop. Breakfast isnt very good, stale bread and cereal. Staff are very friendly and professional.

This was a horrible stay. I booked a room that advertised several beds for 3-4 people. The room type is not suitable for more than 2, however. They have a couch with a thin cushion (not a mattress) that they consider a bed. I feel cheated by this false advertising. The management is also horrible. Regarding covid, it seems they really don’t care. They have a buffet style breakfast. The food options are very low grade but beyond that the whole set up is very unhygienic (especially during covid). There is no service - guests can just come and grab things as they please so you really can’t know how the food was handled (if someone put something back, for example, which I did see happen). Not even the coffee was okay. Very cheap machine. Unbearable taste. The accommodations are also very tight. There is nowhere to comfortably put your luggage other than the front entrance so you essentially have to walk around your stuff the whole time. The bathroom is the same. You have the squish in to move the door to close it and get into the shower. The products are very cheap. The bedding isn’t comfortable. The power at the hotel actually went out 2x while there. It didn’t last long but I noticed this did not happen to surrounding hotels. There was no functional WiFi. It really did not work. At best it was an inconsistent flickering one bar and impossible to browse the internet. Be careful -they also own other hotels. Don’t recommend. Island offers many better accommodation options.

Our stay was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived at the Port we were picked up by a private shuttle and brought to the resort. Thanos the concierge is one of the most genuine and kind people we have met throughout our 3.5 weeks in Greece. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the poolside breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. The pool is magnificent and quite arguably the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay on the hidden gem island of Folegandros.
