A beautiful hotel. Staff were amazing, location fantastic, the hotel was cared for with such pride and couldn't of wished for anything better. If you are looking for a quiet location, a lovely relaxed time then it is ideal. Thank you to the hotel and staff for making our short stay so good, and we will be back a lot more in future.

Such a beautiful and perfect hotel. Staff were amazing, location perfect, the hotel was looked after with such pride and couldn't of wished for anything better. If you are looking for a quiet location, a lovely relaxed time then try Yperia hotel. I do not think you could ever be disappointed. Thank you to the hotel and staff for making our short stay so good, and we will be back a lot more in future. Now our favourite hotel from all our travels around the world!

Having stayed at this hotel in 2016 we were keen to return. Unfortunately overall it was a disappointment. We had already been in Amorgos for a few days and although we did not expect the room to be ready when we turned up at 11.30, it was not a very welcoming experience and we were told to return a little later. We left our luggage and went for lunch. The check-in procedure was rather slow despite doing all the paperwork online beforehand. The room was at the very back. It was obvious that the room had not been renovated in a long time and felt dated albeit clean. The balcony was indeed overlooking the sea but there was no sun nor would you be able to see the sunset from the balcony. During the night we were awoken multiple times by the air-conditioning unit making a loud noise. We tried to play around with the settings, but invariably after half an hour or so the sound would return. We informed the reception staff in the morning and went to have breakfast. Luckily the room was changed for one at the front with an excellent view and good water pressure. This made all the difference for the rest of our holiday. The breakfast did not change throughout our stay but was basic of reasonable quality. The staff were friendly and the pool area well maintained. Overall it was a mediocre stay in what could be a high-end boutique hotel.

Fabulously welcoming and accommodating team, friendly without being at all overbearing. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the sea - lots of space, super-clean. The whole hotel has a great ‘feel’: lovely round the pool (with pool towels provided!), spaces outside and between the rooms, everyone was smiling (guests and staff). Very good location, a few steps from loads of good restaurants. The 3* for eco-friendliness is because we’re not sure what to compare Yperia with: nothing worse that what other hotels do; nothing obviously eco-friendly.

Faultless in every way - large airy room with individual features, excellent shower room and balcony. Staff led by manager helpful in every way (he collected us from the port 100 metres away as it was uphill and he said too hot to walk with luggage!!). Amorgos is a hidden gem with a lovely beach with lots of shade nearby, serious walking for the energetic, and good local bus service over mountainous roads to other beaches, monastery and the port Katapola. We will certainly return

Our stay was great, the room was spacious, and spotless! The pool area had an amazing view of the sea and port! The breakfast was delicious as well! A short walk down the hill and you are in the square where there's lots of place to eat and drink. The hotel is also only a stone throw away from a sandy beach! We would definitely recommend a stay!
