Very good hotel with designer rooms Antigua style. Huge, very comfortable bed. No fan or windows that could be left open at night. Beautiful gardens and flower displays. Helpful and friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant very basic and recommend it only as an easy option after a long travel day. Fish dinner was awful so avoid that at all costs.

No one speaks English most of the time. We stayed in a room next to street . It was very noisy and couldn't sleep. I heard only one room was like that. Room was big with high beam ceiling. It is clean . The hotel is well located and is beautiful too .

Stay was comfortable and very clean, breakfast (included) was generous and always included an egg option(same daily) lighter options were available. Coffee and potable water too (greatly appreciated) Good value for the money.Staff have limited English but between smiles and my minimal Spanish I was able to make myself understood. The shower in the bathroom was luxurious and large with abundant hot water. Would stay again and recommend.

The place was decent enough, but we think not totally worth the price for what you get. The area of this hotel is very noisy with people yelling very early in the morning on the corner of this block. It was very annoying, and hard to sleep in, past about daybreak. It is a B & B but the breakfasts were a little stingy on quality and selection...there was none. We stayed 8 nights here, and the food offerings kept repeating, cold pancakes, eggs if you want them, sometimes fruit, and coffee, 1 type of cereal. It's OK, but not worth what we paid for the room. Staff was excellent and some spoke some English, we spoke some Spanish. The TV would go out sometimes at night. We eventually learned we were connected to a room next door for the reception, and if someone unplugged it, ours went too. Our goal was not to watch TV, but we didn't stay out in the town too late, so we enjoyed a little before sleeping. The big deal for us was the noise in the area. We later found some enchanting boutique hotels across town which were not only cheaper, but much quieter.

Awesome little Hotel and super close to the main central part of town (4 Blocks). service was very helpful and although they did not have full room service (lunch or dinner options in room) they had a simple, complementary breakfast that was just right. rooms were just what you needed, nice beds, enough space, and bathroom was great. the hot water situation was a little tricky... you had to wait a solid 5 minutes before you got hot water but after it started flowing hot it was perfect. when traveling to countries like Guatemala... having honest hot water at all was soooo nice in my experiences. and my girlfriend loved it as well. keep in mind what your booking.. its a gem but its not The Ritz or a modern full service hotel.. but you could find such option in Antigua. This town has soo much to offer and very very traveler friendly. When i go back i will book at this little gem of a hotel, very happy and exactly what we were expecting. Also your kinda in the middle.. 4 blocks to the east is the tourist sections(Shops, nice restaurants and bars, central park and museums) and 4 blocks to the west is the local bustling part of town (fast food restaurants, markets) No complaints and easily the best part of our Guatemala Trip.

Lovely room set around lovely gardens with great views of one of the volcanos. Nice breakfast and helpful staff who who can arrange tours and onward transport very easily. Great location in the centre of Antigua. Wifi was only available in the reception area though. Our only disappointment was the sheets - the mattress was so thick and luxurious that the sheets didnt fit so you woke up on the mattress every morning, and they weren't ironed. Surprising for a hotel which otherwise hd very high standards.

Someone decided to build a kitchen in the middle of the hotel so the noise affects all central rooms and the staff chat in here early in the morning while liquefying juices loudly. Not great. Clean nice rooms. Centrally located and lovely courtyard.
