Very nice hotel , just couldn’t walk anywhere, but great staff

This hotel was by far my favorite place I stayed throughout my trip. It was in a gated area, so it felt very safe and the hotel itself was very clean. It also felt very private, which was nice. Roger was a wonderful host and the breakfast he cooked each morning was wonderful! This hotel is located very close to the airport so it was very easy to navigate to these accommodations when I landed.

We enjoyed our time here. Our staff guy was very nice and friendly. Will definitely book again. Our breakfast was a simple but delicious dish. Room and restroom was clean.

The host went above and beyond. I got in the really late and he got me in quickly with no issues at all. Room was spacious and King size bed was comfy. There was a great breakfast in the morning and everything went extremely smoothly. Thanks for a great stay!

This place was excellent. Very quiet, very safe, great price and just 5 min from airport

Good location close to Airport. However this place is overated and should not be classified as "Hotel". It is a Guest house. Overall house is looking good, however had a lot of hairs on my room floor and my bed sheet was not freshly change. Don't trust the super discount.The worse was to find the place....took a lot of time as no sign outside and care taker though it was funny.

I have stayed in many of the airport hotels/BnBs over the years. This was my first time at Ole Espańa. On the plus side: we were able to park in their garage. The host was super nice. The room was quite large with big windows that open on to the back yard. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower hot. We didn't need closet space, but there was a lot of it. On the minus side, the property is showing it's age. It has heavy woodwork which can feel a bit oppressive. Some of the furniture was worn and there were places in the room that hadn't been well cleaned. Overall, it's a great place to stay when you just need a bed before or after a flight. The prices are excellent, so it's a good value.

Nice place clean

The host was super nice and attentive.

It was difficult to find the place because neither Expedia or the host included in their directions that it was inside a gated community! I called the hotel several times and no answer. So that part was frustrating. Once we arrived the caretaker of the hotel was very nice. The room was clean. But then in the evening the water shut off! I know Guate can have water issues sometimes, so we understood. But the hosts could have been more attentive and at least provided us with water bottles so that we could have at least brushed our teeth, flushed toilet, etc. In sum, we were not very happy with our stay and in the future would not stay here again.

It is as described. We just stayed for one night before our flight. It was close-ish to the airport. The bed was comfy, the place was clean. There is a nice common area to sit in downstairs.

Closed to the airport! Convenient If you want to stay for one night

The staff and the owner is too kind. I reached Guatemala city very early morning and they let me stay in the common area. And even on the day of checkout they let me stay in the common area even after checkout. Since I have a baby, it was very convenient for me. The owner or the person who runs this place is very kind. Also, the place is clean, quiet and safe. there is a play area in walkable distance, which my son enjoyed thoroughly.

I want to say that the places was super clean and staff was great.

Estaba muy lindo, muy limpio, tranquilo todo, en una zona segura, la casa (porque es una casa adaptada) muy bonita. El joven que me atendió muy amable y muy accesible. El único detalle es que las paredes son muy delgadas, se escucha todo y por el precio, un baño compartido no es lo ideal. Aun asi el baño estuvo bien. Sin ningun inconveniente.
