My second stay in this hotel, and I'm still happy with the services. The happiest part is they have tap water 😊 and super easy access to MTR and buses. Thank you Royal Plaza. PS: Need to watch out that there are rooms with separate showers and without. Please check prior to booking, especially for the elderly.

Very recommended hotel. Perfect location and CBD area. MasyaAllah dan alhamdulillah kita dapat hotel yang lokasinya benar-benar perfect ke mana-mana dan dekat dengan train station, busway every second minute will passed in front of you, juga restoran di mana-mana. Perfect place to stay with your family and affordable price. All surrounding hotel convenient, 2 minutes walk to the I square, many supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. The most important we found halal restaurant next door, level 1. I stay 7th days during Ragasa Typhoon and really safe hotel. Friendly staff too. Next time if we come back to Hongkong, we know where we have to go😇😘 Thanks for look after us.

I booked a comfort room that can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child, then the hotel upgraded to a room type with 3 single beds for free. In terms of distance, it can't be said to be very close to the Mong Kok area (850m), but the hotel provides a shuttle to Mong Kok, Temple St, and TST. The location around the hotel is very comfortable, not crowded like Mong Kok. Across from the hotel are McD, Sevel, Bestmart 360, Park n Shop, Luckin Coffee. MTR Olympic is only 550m by walk and directly connected to the Disneyland line and Airport Express. Surprisingly, there are several halal food options around the hotel and everything we tried was delicious. The room was very clean, the amenities smelled really good. There is also a water dispenser so you save on buying water at Sevel.

When visiting popular landmarks or attractions, such as those around the harbourfront or within the bustling markets, it's important to be mindful of local norms. Queuing is orderly, and respecting personal space is appreciated, especially in crowded areas. At restaurants, especially those with a more traditional setting, it's common to use serving chopsticks for shared dishes.

Safety in Tsim Sha Tsui is generally high, with low crime rates. However, like any major urban centre, it's wise to take standard precautions. For transportation, the MTR system is efficient and safe, and taxis are readily available. Ride-hailing apps are also popular and reliable. For emergencies, the police and ambulance services can be reached via the universal emergency number.

In case of any emergencies or for consular assistance, Filipino travellers can contact the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR. Visa Information for Hong Kong SAR

For Philippine passport holders planning a trip to Tsim Sha Tsui, understanding the visa requirements for entering Hong Kong SAR is crucial. As of current regulations, Philippine passport holders are generally granted visa-free entry for short stays, typically up to 30 days. This allows for convenient travel for tourism and business purposes without the need for a pre-arranged visa. However, it is imperative to ensure your passport has at least six months of validity remaining from your intended date of departure from Hong Kong SAR.

The application process, while often not required for visa-free entry, necessitates proper documentation should immigration officers request it. This typically includes a valid Philippine passport with sufficient remaining validity, proof of onward or return travel (such as a confirmed flight ticket), and sufficient funds to cover your stay. While no specific visa fee is applicable for visa-free entry, travellers should be prepared to present evidence of their financial capacity, which could include bank statements or credit cards.

Given that immigration policies can be subject to change, it is strongly recommended that all travellers, especially those from the Philippines, verify the latest visa regulations with the Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department or the nearest Chinese Embassy/Consulate before booking flights. Confirming your entry requirements well in advance will prevent any last-minute issues and ensure a smooth arrival into Hong Kong SAR for your visit to Tsim Sha Tsui.
