Me and my mom booked a room with out comfort room not knowing that it is not included but the front disk help us to find other room and give discount.

The receptionist is very accommodating. The place is near to the mrt station. Shopping malls, restaurants are just around the building and most important is there's a lot of money changer at the ground floor.

The info was misleading, we were able to book a room, twin bed but when we got there the man said that it doesn't have its own bathroom and we need to share with men on the 10th floor (we were at 13th floor). He said we need to pay additional 300HKD to book a room with a bathroom on its own. Thought we saved on this booking! Totally misleading!

I felt bad at first because my whole family was so tired when we arrived without breakfast and lunch yet from the airport. They told us that the 2 rooms I paid had no Toilet and it is just a shared toilet. At first it was fine because I am already aware that is a shared toilet and I saw in the internet that it’s a simple toilet. But when I checked it, I was so disappointed that it was the not toilet shown in the internet but it was a common Toilet for male and female and no cover. Only 2 doors. I imagined if we are going to take a bath, we would be seen. Even the doors are not that high. It would be very uncomfortable to take a bath or even other thing else because it is open. The worst thing is, it is only located at the ground floor and used by everybody in the building. And we were going to stay there for 4 nights and our rooms are located at the 10th floor. If we rent rooms with toilet, we have to pay 800 HKD. Since I was so tired I almost paid but worried of our budget because it was not a part of our budget for the CR. I thought the shared CR is located on the same floor and would be comfortable enough but no. It was not the CR I saw from the internet that was why I argued with the receptionist and asked for a refund but they refused. I said the descriptions of the rooms in the internet are not clear. An they only showed beautiful CR and rooms. That even some residents there told us that the hostel is not good. I said to my family that we have to be patient of what they are going to provide us because it was already paid and no refund. I thought that time to better go back to the Philippines because I wouldn’t be happy to stay there if there would be no CR on the same floor. And another worst thing is that, the elevator would be until 12 am only and open at 6 am. What if we like to go to the CR between those times? Too bad, I said. A hotel or inn should always have enough CR in the building if they are shared CR. Anyway, they told us to come back at 2pm to check in. When we came back, good thing that they gave us new rooms with toilets without paying. Since it was my first time to book there by myself and not fully aware of their system, they gave new rooms with toilets but they did not let us pay the additional charge anymore. So I would rate it as average. Bad because we encountered problems about the comfort room when we arrived there too tired. It did not comfort me especially that my stomach was aching so much and no comfortable CR to use. So next time when you book, fellow tourists, know the details of the rooms very well where you will stay. Otherwise you will be surprised when they ask additional charges. When we get there the room that i booked doesn't have a toilet so we have to pay extra just to have a toilet and additional charge when you leave ahead of the checkout time. should be 9-12 only. hostel concierge should be available at all times to consider flying guests. there should be 24hrs assistance to foreigners.
