Auris Hotel

Property very attractive. Small but comfortable room. Well located. Staff attentive and helpful. Some of the minor negatives. Lack of elevator in 2nd building not mentioned anywhere. No Kleenex in room. Had to request more toilet paper since only one roll was supplied for a 2 night stay.

What a lovely stay. Lovely room, beautiful bathroom. Car parking limited, but managed to get on site. Friendly staff, great breakfast! Would stay again

Very clean and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was complementary and it was superb. During our stay, weather was very hot and the swimming pool was a welcome addition. Very memorable stay.

A rather modest hotel with poorly qualified staff!

Fabulous room, huge, comfortable bed. Superb rooftop restaurant, serving delicious food. Disappointed with breakfast, scrambled eggs made from powder mix, however there is an egg station which we noticed later. Arrived early and wasn't offered the room, (hardly any occupancy due to Covid), so went for a walk to mall next door. Returned and still had to wait but when we started to fall asleep on the settees in the waiting area, we were allowed to check in 15 mins earlier... overall, an excellent hotel stay, albeit under average receptionist.

Horrible, avoid at all costs until construction next store ends, you better be up by 7am. the AC also wasn't turned on for the season which means sleeping in 75 degree F heat.

Lovely hotel, outstanding staff. Gorgeous design and unexpected amenities such as a swimming pool in a lovely garden. The terrace in our room was truly amazing. Only the wifi signal was weak. Very well located in the hidden gem of a city that is Szeged!

Clean and spacious room with excellent air conditioning. Friendly and helpful receptionist, very close to great cafes, restaurants and sights. A swim in the pool was appreciated on the very hot day.

clean, no restaurant but decent walk to the local town. Right next to hospital where I was working. Lovely and clean.

Excellent hotel! The staff deserve it... I was accommodated in another building, although I was with friends / children. After many insistence, I was given a room next to friends. At 8.00 in the morning, clean the vacuum cleaner in the hall. There is no spa, but only a small outdoor pool near the parking lot, which only works in summer.

Hotel: relaxing atmosphere with professional approach. Staff kind and helpful. Only sad thing is the pathetic habiot of people smoking and making you suffer. I was not happy when people sat out in the street at the front entrance for a coffee and started smoking as it came into my room which was exactly above them on the first floor. Another thing worth for the Hotel management to make note of is pathetic sight to hotel staff smoking standing around / sitting around in the back entrance smoking.

We spent one night at Hotel Auris and it was great. Booked in advance, the room was ready for us when we arrived just after 2pm. Check in was easy and quick, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, I booked a double however I was given a twin room, but did not make a fuss about it. Amenities are as usual, fridge, tea and coffee. There is a small flat TV as well. The chocolate on the bed was a nice touch. The bathroom is really good, shower is great with good pressure. Air con works great, make sure the windows are closed though, the air con would not work with the window open. Also the street can be noisy especially when the trams are running, but the window seemed to be soundproof when closed. I cannot comment on breakfast as we did not opt in for that, however it is on offer. The hotel also has a bar, but no restaurant. The city centre is only a few minute walk with bars and restaurants though. The hotel also has a pool, again, cannot comment, never tried it. All in all it was a really pleasant stay, really enjoyed it. Make sure you park in their parking asap after checking in, I got fined on the street for parking, completely my fault, I just thought I mention to make sure others do not end up with a parking fine. Would return and would recommend.

Love, love, love Szeged. Beautiful architecture, lovely people, brilliant food. The Christmas lights are stunning, and everyone is very welcoming. The Auris Hotel was ideal for our needs, although it would be nice to have a kettle etc in the standard rooms. The little convenience stores nearby have a great range of snacks etc if needed.

Room was clean, well appointed and had very comfortable beds. The efficiency kitchen was great and would have been even better with some simple utensils and plates, etc. good location, nice staff, great hotel in Szeged.

The hotel was modern and clean. All the staff were nice and helpful. The pool was much too cold but we still used it. Our stay would have been a little better if the hotel offered room service and an on site restaurant. That being said the high street is so close and there are lots of good places to eat there.
