The hotel was elegant but decorated in a very cozy way. Nice sized rooms and great bathroom. Restaurant and staff in hotel were great. Close location to the downtown core.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is super convenient—an easy walk to many of the city’s main sights. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. But the standout was the breakfast buffet—honestly one of the best I’ve had at any hotel. Great variety, fresh options, and everything was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is a terrible hotel, the windows were malfunctioning in our room, nobody checked when we inquired about the ac not turning on…we were told to open the windows…great! It was so hot and no sleep was had.
The room service was done on request and all they did was replace the towels…one had a hair on it.
No assistance with parking was offered, staff were rude. Honestly I need a refund for this stay- I paid over $600 for what exactly?? Didn’t even have breakfast the last morning due to a early flight and was offered candy bars…
The more I write the more annoyed I am getting.

Will not come back to this hotel. There are only 2 drop of parking spots outside of the hotel which were fully occupied during our check in. It’s is difficult to find parking around the area. Our room was “upgraded” to a room on the 5th floor looking out the roof top of the building, should have rejected the free upgrade, but since we stay for only one night we didn’t bother to ask to change to a different room. We went to the ice machine in the hallway but found no ice. Asked the staff and was told to go to a different floor to try rather than offered a bucket of ice. So here is the poor staff service. However the bed and pillows are very comfortable which are difficult to come by in Europe, especially the pillows. We did have a wonderful night of sleep.

The hotel was an easy five minute walk to the center of Reykjavík, sights, harbour, restaurants and shops, also importantly close to bus stops 1 and 2 for tours and 6 for hop on hop off bus. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient and room was kept clean and stocked with coffee!

We h as d a great stay at this hotel! Cant say enough about the professional quality of the staff throughout! Rooms were clean, lobby inviting, nice bar, everything was upscale and beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was 10/10! Amazing! Would stay here again!

Location is great, rooms were ok, but we needed a second luggage rack but they didn’t have any. Odd. Breakfast was fabulous. Dinner was good but not a lot of variety.
