Plenty of street parking if lot in the back is full. Our window was adjacent to the main road but didn't hear much noise come nightfall. Facility is clean and modern. Super spacious rooms! There was a fan which was useful for air circulation. Small fridge. Front desk was pleasant and had wall adapters to loan us. Great breakfast variety. The only downside was their uneven sofa bed that dipped in the center.

Comfortable beds. Fairly clean. Crowded breakfast area but good food. Walkable to Downtown area where there were a lot of great places to see. Big screen tv set up to watch world cup soccer games in town center. Great good near by as well.

Convenient location and fairly new facility. Rooms are nice and clean. I would recommend to get some black out drapes for windows. I noticed many hotels do not have that and it does not get dark at night so difficult to sleep.

Great location in selfloss and walkable to restaurants and grocery store. We followed earlier advice and parked once since parking is in short supply. Good night's rest. Generous breakfast buffet.

A modern and well-appointed hotel. The rooms were lovely and the bathrooms were the best yet on the trip. This is not a cheap hotel, and the buffet was just okay. We were disappointed to find that even with our hybrid rate, the spa was an extra $24 per person charge. The staff there were were men who were friendly, but felt out of place with de for a place this modernist stylish. Located in the heart of town, it's a half block walk to the nearby food hall. One thing that surprised us was the room and the dining room. We're very hot in temperature. There was no way to turn the temperature down and the heater was not on, so we don't know why it was so hot there.

The room itself was fine - bright windows and lighter coloured laminate wood floors. Bathroom was stylish but not very functional with the design of the sink (no countertop space and can’t imagine how many things fall down the very large drain). Upon arrival gentleman checking us in was not very friendly. We had an issue with the safe in our room and he accused us of inputting the code wrong. We hadn’t. We had just arrived and the door was already locked. It started beeping loudly and wouldn’t stop. He came up and unlocked the safe and gave us the pillow cases we asked for - and then he chastised us as there were already cases on the extra pillows in the cupboard. Was hard to tell given the cases were so thin. Mattresses were comfortable though. Also there is a sign at reception that said the spa (eg hot tub) was 3,000 ISK PER PERSON! There was no mention of this on the hotel website or on Expedia. What other hotels charge for using a hot tub in Iceland?!? Previous hotels we have stayed at have not. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Wish we had stayed at Hotel Selfoss instead.
