Wonderful stay at an old county house in a peaceful setting. Appreciated the full kitchen and private hot tub as well as BBQ and laundry - nice rustic decor and comfortable living room, very quiet - Great communication with host who agreed to turn on hot tub for us 3h before our arrival. Of note - there is no bathroom on the main floor. There is a sink and toilet upstairs (with 3 bedrooms) and there is a bathroom and shower in the basement. Both required going up or down steep stairs which could be an issue for guests with lower mobility.

Great accommodation experience. The host was very kind and always reminded us of the weather conditions and schedule. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and it is the best place I have stayed in Iceland. I recommend it.

Wat een ontzettend leuk vakantiehuis. Een perfecte ligging op een mooie locatie en het mooie uitzicht voor de deur. Het huis had alles wat je nodig hebt inclusief een hottub en bbq. Vanuit deze locatie hebben we verschillende uitstapjes gedaan en alles was redelijk in de buurt.
