Amargarh Resort

Terrible experience at Amargarh Resort, poor services, food is unhygenic, charges more but poor guest house service. Food provided was expired. FSSAI must cancel there restaurant license. No room service at all. Never visit this place ever again.... Kamlesh Chauhan

This hotel is now under new ownership so it was at a lower standard when I stayed here last time. The rooms need some small repairs and upgrading some color very drab inside but the bed OK, the first room AC did not work so had to move o another room. Need to upgrade furniture in reception area looks very dirty and drab. Horrible checkin bad customer service, They didn’t know what they where doing and doubtful I had a reservation even after I showed them the email and had to confirm the dates. I’m American coming to India for 23 years so have much experience and they didn’t take the right documents out of my passport they took a photo copy of my expired Nepali visa from last year. I had to make them take a photo copy of the right visa. I had worked all day, it was hot and humid and just wanted to relax into my hotel room but was met with rude questions and they where doubtful, very unprofessional. Even if you didn’t get a copy of my reservation should have been more investigative then doubtful and rude. The menu at the hotel was limited and only a vegetarian menu available but the food was good and the restaurant was professional. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Needs a small uplift in decor no amenities given and maybe they just aren’t up to speed yet.

This resort is basically a marriage hall and far away from city and service at lowest level

Fantastic stay with good amenities..

the resort was good but the service was pretty bad. It looked like the staff were doing a mighty generous job serving us. Also there was lots of open area which was put to little use. Pool was good though.

Stay was good. Food options are limited. As it is outskirts we have to depend entirely on those limited options.

Chose a deluxe room, Excellent rooms. Excellent bed and shower!! Excellent service. Great buffet breakfast!! Restaurant has interesting cuisine for lunch and dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

Basically this is a banquet hall which have some additional rooms. Environment was very noisy, buffet breakfast was like joke, bathroom was leaking for all the time, on first day they even didn't bother to change the bedsheets. Don't know how they are rated 4 star and why they are charging this much. There is always a big fat Indian wedding going on and it will make sure that your stay will be unpleasant. Overall a bad experience.

The rooms are nice, but not very clean. There were loud noises coming from the water pump when we were there, which kept us from sleeping. It's located outside the city, so that you have to drive far with the taxi to get anywhere interesting.

We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. The rooms are big and clean. The room interiors are very well done. Bathrooms are basic but good. The room service is overpriced and just ok. But if you are there for a tourist visit, you always eat out. The place is outside the city and taxis cost a lot. But if you can afford it, its a good place to stay.

Nonostante il personale abbia fatto di tutto per mettermi a mio agio, la struttura non è per gli standard occidentali. Manca di pulizia, servizi, dicono di avere lettini e ombrelloni ma non ci sono, si trova fuori città e in una zona degradata e nessun taxi vuole venire. Il cibo era orribile.
