HOTEL ALFA EXECUTIVE

This property should not have been on Expedia. Had a horrible experience. It started with discovering that there is zero space for loading/unloading luggage. Our cab driver had to go around a few times to find a spot on the street and we had to pay extra for the inconvenience. The property advertisement says there is a safe in the room but there was none. Fan only worked on high speed and it felt like it would fall if turned on. There were worms in the bathroom (probably got in from the sewer thru the sink pipe) ! A wall lizard welcomed us in our room. The pillows and covers were brown and dirty and the staff didnt believe until we showed it to them and they then replaced it. Kettle had a very pungent dirty sewer smell. I fell sick on the1st day itself. Our stay included free breakfast but we were too scared to try. Door had a very large gap that anyone could easily peep into. Had to cover with a shawl. Felt very unsafe. Elevator is narrow and scary, can take 2 people at the most. Area is very noisy from 4 am until 12pm. This place is definitely not worth the money. We were also contacted by the property before our arrival and upon confirming the timing of flight arrival, we were told that as we were arriving late, we would have ro pay INR 2000 to secure the booking which we did but I wish we didn't ! Atleast we could have canceled the stay when we found about the property conditions. I had trusted the reviews and booked this property but I felt cheated.

Very obliging staff. Also the rare experience, as a foreigner, to step out of the hotel and immediately experience the hustle and bustle of local people going about their lives, something very few hotels offer in my view.

The property was awesome nd hotel got some positive energy nd generous staff.

They agreed to a later checkout and before check out time they said they would charge me extra breaking agreement. Much Too expensive for what they have 5.5 of 10.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. I booked one fewer night accidentally and they set me up in an available room quick and easy. They helped bring my stuff to my room and there is a tiny elevator. Inside the hotel is clean, my room was clean. A little mold in the bathrooms due to the humidity of Mumbai climate, but not out of control. The food is great, always fresh prepared so does take time, but worth it, and very large portions, no refrigerator or microwave in room, so account for that. The horns from cars can be heard and prayer time. I enjoyed prayer, it sounded relaxing even though i didnt understand a single word. I cannot hear the neighbors, sometimes someone running up or down stairs. I would recommend for foreigners who dont need marriot - fancy, just good standard nice hotel. I come from California and I would stay here again. It was close to my friend's family home so i could visit but in my own space. Occasional bad odors come indoors from outdoors, such as through air conditioner, but don't seem to linger long and hotel has many air freshener packs to soak up odors. I felt welcome and safe which drives me to want to bring my business here again in the future. Yaloo?? I cannot remember his name exactly is so friendly and kind! The man who cooks is an amazing cook! I got mutton masala and garlic naan with biriyani rice, so yummy! so was kezar falooda, pineapple juice and all the deserts. Being a single woman from America, I felt safe.

This is the best value for money hotel in Andheri. The rooms are immaculately clean. The staff are polite and friendly. The hotel is walking distance to Andheri railway station and the connecting Andheri Metro station. This is my go to hotel whenever I stay in Mumbai.

The room and bathroom was smaller than they appear in the photos, but at last the property was clean. The bathroom is a bit odd because it's more like a shower room with a sink and toilet thrown in - the toilet gets wet when you shower. Overall, for the cheap price, can't really complain too much.
