Hotel Marine Plaza Mumbai

The room was nice, a little out dated but clean. We got a partial sea view which was lovely. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from and had some cook to order food items. The bar had a happy hour. However there was only one beer included in the offer, which was more expensive beer, Carlsburg Elephant. During our stay, there was a film being filmed on the roof terrace, where the pool was. We were not told about this, and our room was right below, so every night (6 nights) you could hear banging, people walking and loud music, sometimes into the early hours. We did not want to move as we had a lovey view. When we went to the pool the whole area had not been cleaned up from the film shoot, there was something in the jacuzzi so could not use that all week, there were no sun loungers so had to get some chairs to put by the pool, and no towels, so had to ask for these to be brought up. Not the service you expect. We were paying customers so expected to be able to use all facilities, and was disappointed that the pool and terrace area was not fully available to its guests. We chose the hotel for the pool and terrace where we could have a meal on, Having a film shoot on the roof spoilt our first experience in India,

Excellent location, super friendly and helpful staff, clean. Only negative is they could make a bit more of the roof pool area during the day as it feels more like a night time dining venue rather than a place to relax with no loungers/towels etc.

The bed and pillows were amazing. Sunset view from our window could not be beat. HOTEL is not compensating their staff correctly. We had a 15 minute conversation with room service about how they could possibly get a job in the USA. It was impossible to shut the door. On the other hand the front desk staff was fantastic. We wanted to buy those pillows. Breakfast was comped. Thank you very much. Omelettes were fantastic as was dosa.

Stayed for one night. Quick and seamless check in, with friendly staff. We went to our room expecting bags to be brought up, but although it was only a few minutes they hadn’t arrived I chose to go back down and get them. No real issue, just mentioning. Room was great with a nice sea view, and breakfast was lovely. All in all this was a very nice hotel and worth staying in to walk to the Colaba area to sightsee

Staff overcharged and underdelivered. Made me change rooms to downgraded rooms for multiple times. I requested and paid for late checkout but they claimed that I agreed for downgraded room the night before checkout. Did not make sense to pay for upgrade and they shift to different room and twin bed instead of paid double bed. WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE WVER AGAIN

Yes I had an ocean view room but they were not co operative at all I had a food poison and got very ill there didn't had the breakfast after having for the first time but they didn't provide anything to me except the fruit extended for one more day due to health issues but no co operation from the staff and property

We loved stayed at the Marine Plaza, we had a sea view room with an outstanding view of Marine Drive and the Mumbai sunsets. Rooms were clean, staff frieand helpful and the food was lovely. Ubers were very easy to get directly outside the hotel but also walkable to the Gateway of India.

Bedbugs was an issue

Amazing hotel right on marine drive. Best place to live if you’re visiting Mumbai for a couple days.
