Hotel Riverside

Fair location , nice near by bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly. The venue is a nice size but VERY VERY run down , awful rooms , very basic, not really clean. The pool and garden is in a very bad state and didnt see a single person use it.

There was no drinking water in the room , no hot water , no room service , total it was too bad experience from the day we check in....we are not expected these type of hotel from expedia .....the room phone was not working from the day 1 , basic need drinking water was not available,, No kitchen in the hotel , for food & breakfast we have to go for other hotel.total we faced lots of issue....... We request you to not recommend to other peoples.

A little outside of the main noise on a fairly peaceful river, very simple accommodation but big room, soft clean sheets EVERY day and comfortable bed. Nice balcony overlooking river. Lovely pool area, towels provided and very peaceful. Pool staff very friendly. Downside: sink in bedroom dirty and so were the mirror as there was a build up of muck on both. I had to find disinfectant and clean myself. Coffee was excellent but the bread for toast was like chewing leather and the staff on reception and in the bar are miserable and have no idea about customer service, even by Indian standards. I asked to stay another night and even though rooms were empty reception staff wanted me to go find the boss on the other side of the river. They couldn't be bothered to make a phone call to organise it. Obviously I left!

The River Side hotel is a Decent Budget hotel with Nice Deluxe rooms. The Standard room are not good & are over prized. you should opt for Deluxe room only if u want to enjoy this hotel. The Location of this Hotel is very good as the baga beach is at walking distance. The Breakfast given inclusive of the room fare is not worth it. They only give bread toast with Jam/butter & tea/coffee.

Its was a very nice experience. If in future if i will visit goa then i would like to stay at Hotel Riverside only. At the time of check in i had to show an id card and booking id. Room was neat and clean. Staff was so good and helping. If you are looking for hotels in goa then i will highly recommend hotel riverside.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and find it very uncomfortable as there is absolutely no room service available, even if you want a bottle of water you need to go and self pick up from their Restaurant. No food available in lunch or snacks. Most of the time the Chef is not there in the hotel and nothing is available to eat. Food rate is very expensive. Breakfast although mention is Complimentary Continental but you will only get 2 slice of Bread, Butter, Jam, tea/coffee, that's all..... Bed sheet will be change after 2-3 days. I may never recommend anyone to stay here ever. Very unhygienic place, staff clothes were very dirty and no uniform.

Quiet place with a walking distance from Baga beach. Great location.

Our experience with hotel was good and staff was also friendly. We had easy access to many places like beaches and restaurants. The hotel also has a restaurant, but the food their is expensive compared to outside but food is nice. In complimentary breakfast, you will get only 2 slices of bread with jam/butter and tea/coffee and other thing you'll need to buy. The view from our room was good as it overlooked the Baga river and the place is also quieter as the beach is not very near. You can easily walk to the Baga beach as it is hardly 1 km.

This was my 4th trip to Goa in the last couple of years. We stayed for 4 nights post Christmas before the New Year. The place is very close to Baga beach. I knew the hotel location and what it looked like when I booked but never stayed there in the past. The place looks great from outside but is run down inside near the pool area and the rooms. Rooms are spacious. Bed covers were clean but the mattress were not very comfortable. Bathrooms are very basic. There was no water pressure. 1 of the 3 rooms we had booked had a tap and a shower and the other 2 rooms had just a shower and not a single tap. Pool area was not maintained though the pool itself was clean. It looked like there was a huge barbecue place there that has been shut down and you can see reminiscence of it. Apparently Danny has moved out and the hotel is being run by the owner himself. So there is no proper restaurant available in the hotel. They serve some basic food if you need which is expensive. Complimentary Break fast as mentioned in many of the reviews was Toast, Butter, Jam and Tea/Coffee. So I did not have very high expectations. There is a Bar & Restaurant next door called Cheenos which is a bit noisy but looked nice. It felt like they were more friendly towards the Russians staying there than Indians. Overall nice location if you are just a couple or single but a poorly maintained place.

This is a beautifully situated hotel with well modernised rooms and a lovely pool. It is let down by the service. I stayed there often a few years ago when service was top notch. The owner now has the hotel over the road as well and has let standards drop here (no bar, no restaurant, no pool towels, only 5 sunloungers as the rest have been moved to the other hotel, they claim to have an airport shuttle service - I phoned 3 times about this but could not get any sense out of the reception staff). The cleaning staff are great but the front of house staff need proper training in customer service. It is a pity that such a little gem of a hotel has become so poor.

Har boet her hver Februar i 8 år. Hotellet ligger uden for Baga, der dog kun er 10 minutters gang derfra. Roligt område-book et de luxe rum med balkon vendt mod floden og følg med i fuglelivet-der er flotte Kingfisher fugle og små papegøjer bl.a. Morgenmaden er lidt kedelig - 2 toast, masala omelet, the eller kaffe - men juice og yoghurt m/müesli etc kan tilkøbes. Vi vælger dette sted hvert år, pga beliggenheden-udenfor al larmen og alligevel tæt på by og strand(500m). Der er dejlig pool i hyggelig have med poolhåndklæder - desværre fungerer restauranten kun om morgenen men man kan købe drikkelse hele døgnet. Værelserne er store, gode senge og bliver flot rengjort af venligt personale.

Hôtel près de la rivière, de la plage et de la ville de Baga. Piscine propre mais le reste est pas en très bon état. Wifi qu'a la réception, pas de TV. On a été accueilli par une personne en t-shirt sale est pied nu.
