We spent two wonderful nights at Itmenaan Estate, and our stay was truly pleasant and memorable. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention to the lady managing the property — she is incredibly warm and welcoming, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The estate itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature — a perfect escape from the city’s chaos. And the food — absolutely top-notch! Every dish we tried was delicious, prepared with care and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway with excellent hospitality and amazing food!

In remote area of Pithoragarh 'Itmenaan' pops up like a pearl of luxary while maintaining rustic charm. Well managed by Bhawna and the staff.

I liked the entire mountainous surroundings, accommodation facilities, service staff, excellent food. Although I had read about and knew of the steep hill I have to climb down to Itimenaan Estate, i found myself totally unprepared for the very challenging and steep climb made more dangerous because of moist and slippery rocks. Not for faint hearted. But the beauty of the surroundings makes it all worthwhile.

The obvious highlights of this property is its location - very idyllic and totally tranquil, even if its a bit off route; its at least to my liking. The rooms and the overall property is very tastefully done and is totally serene as there's no other hotel or resort in the vicinity. So in that sense, I would give it all points. What's more is the hotel's lower staff is polite and helpful, the dinner they served was very well made and the room, going by eco-friendly standards, although dimly lit (a bit of an issue), is again to my liking at least. What has really taken away most of these goods and left a very bad impression was the managerial staff's behaviour - absent as they were from the property itself. The price i had paid for (6143/- INR) clearly showed that a continental breakfast was included in the price - it is also a bit obvious to expect breakfast since like i said, the nearest store to get a bottle of water would be a 15 min drive. I was however denied breakfast by the manager - Amit as his name was i recall. His logic was that since the voucher didn't mention breakfast, the hotel wouldn't serve it. I was ready to provide a screenshot of the price with corresponding inclusions but he wouldn't listen. It is ridiculous for both expedia as well as the hotel to treat the guest like this on such a petty issue. Given this experience, I wouldn't bother coming so off route all the way and neither would i recommend it to anyone else, esp. those booking through the app.

Loved our recent stay in Itmenaan estate. We went there with our kiddos - our 3 year old toddler and our 5 year old doggo. The property is situated in a serene location with a clear view of the Himalayan mountain ranges. The rooms are comfortable. Could be more cleaner and the service of house keeping could be better but overall comfortable and simple cottage living in the mountains. The food is great and homely. Breakfast options could be more and better but overall no complains for our 3 day stay. Could become boring if you intend to stay longer but I am sure the staff could accommodate custom food requests.
