NO 18 HOTEL

Was a good size room but I did request a room with a safe and then had to wait four hours in the room for a safe to be delivered, first half of my day ruined, I pressed the button for cleaner required that lights up in the hallway outside the door but after three days no one had to come so I physically went and got a cleaner from another room and asked them for some green towels the bins to be emptied the floor to be cleaned, et cetera et cetera, I only booked the hotel because it had a pool unfortunately the pump was not running. The water was green. They did keep telling me they was waiting to get it fixed. It never happened after a week I rebooked in another location the hotel staff were very nice indeed the building itself is a little rundown. I removed the shower hose myself and took it to reception and told them to replace it as it was covered in black mould. The shower curtains needed to be replaced, the fridge didn’t work at all was actually warm inside but I did replace it with a new one the food there was excellent, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Friendly staff and a nice spacious room. An excellent location and the adjoining cafe was excellent with wonderful staff who were most engaging. However the building needed upgrading. Lots of minor things were worn or not working. My room was not cleaned in 4 days. The pool needed sweeping for leaves which I did. Small pool which felt abandoned but was a pleasure. It’s a nice hotel but really needs a lot of small improvements.

I loved the stay it was close to attractions had friendly staff and places close to eat
