The best stay in any hotel for a long time. Taj Nadesa Palace made us feel at home right from the first step we took into this hotel. The staff made every effort to look after us and our needs. We wish to return one day. Staying in Varanasi is at times challenging, so one needs an oasis like the Taj Nadesa to feel comfortable.

One of the finest luxury hotel we have stayed. We visited varansi for one night on April 24 to visit kadhi Vishwanath Temple, each and every staff took care of us like their own family members. Food was awesome and we will go back with our kids in winter

We had an excellent time at Taj Nadesar Palace . The property is a palace with 12 rooms and are well maintained on 48 Acres of land with lot of history to be discovered. The local cuisine we asked for was excellent and the service and hospitality out of the worldMore

The hotel isn't a"palace" in as much as the guest house for the palace somewhere else. Lots of heads of state stayed there. But its only ten rooms. SO it "feels" like a luxury bed and breakfast, not a "palace". There is nothing except the Ganges and the Hindu religious events. That's not a bad thing. Just be aware it is rural India. Its more of a destination for doing nothing and relaxing, than activities.

The Gateway Hotel was clean and comfortable, but what makes it especially good is the level of service and general friendliness of the staff. From the concierge, who found me a great guide, to the waiter at the breakfast table, everyone made me feel welcome. This is especially reassuring when travelling on your own!
