Amban Beach House is located right by the Pacific Ocean in Amban Village, only 5 km from Manokwari town. We were the first guesthouse built in this area, offering private access to the beach and front-row views of the waves.

Perfect for surf lovers, our beachfront location is ideal from October to April, when Amban’s waves are at their best. During the off-season, the ocean is calmer—great for surf lessons, paddleboarding, snorkeling, or just a swim. We also offer help arranging day trips like:

Snorkeling or diving around Mansinam Island

The service was not very good because the boss reprimanded his subordinates in front of the guests, even though the guests had asked and were given permission, but the boss immediately reprimanded them.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the way our staff communicated. During check-in, we were informed that BBQ in front of the guesthouse is not allowed. And it is not allowed to clean fish in the shared bathroom in order to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of all guests.

because this room is on the beach so mosquitoes can easily enter so please provide mosquito spray to disturb your rest, please hang rolled toilet paper in a place so it is hygienic, not just stored in the washbasin. Also, people who walk around the room, please make sure that when they walk, the sound of footsteps can be heard very loudly in the room. Please control the dogs around the room so they can't sit on the bench in front of the room because the dogs sleep on the bench, which makes them uncomfortable.

The road to the hotel doesn't feel good. I was confused at first. But once we arrived at the hotel, we were very happy. So worth it for another stay in the future. The service is also good. Clean rooms. And the view of the beach in the morning is very beautiful
