Staying at this hotel was a memorable experience for our family. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay and didn't want to leave. Parking was ample, and the hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was varied, and there was a swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. It was also close to the culinary spots we wanted to visit.

The location is strategic to Mangkunegaran Palace and Triwindu Market. There are also many trendy cafes along the road (Calf, Loske, Kopi Kenangan, Margi). The superior room is perfect for solo traveling. Maybe the soap dish in the bathroom could be improved, because it's a bit easy to come off. Also, there are YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, etc., which is great. Oh, and I also got a gift of 2 donuts and 1 water, in fact, 2 water bottles are provided in the room. Getting 3 330 ml bottles is quite good.

The hotel staff is very friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We got a room with a less than ideal AC, and they immediately helped us and opened a new room for us to move to. They also helped us get a refund because we chose the wrong date. The guy was very quick and informative. Love it! The souvenirs they sell are also cheap and good. There's also delicious seafood next to the hotel! We'll be back here again.

Ride-hailing apps are also popular and provide a cost-effective way to navigate the region.

The best time to visit Serengan generally aligns with Indonesia's dry season, which typically runs from May to September. During these months, the weather is pleasant with less rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor exploration and sightseeing. Entering Indonesia: Visa Requirements for Philippine Passport Holders

Philippine passport holders enjoy visa-free entry into Indonesia for short stays, typically for tourism purposes. This allows for a stay of up to 30 days without the need for a pre-arranged visa. It is crucial to ensure your passport has at least six months of validity remaining from your date of entry into Indonesia. While visa-free, you may be asked to present proof of onward travel, such as a return flight ticket, and sufficient funds to cover your stay upon arrival.

The application process for visa-free entry is straightforward; you simply present your valid Philippine passport at the immigration counter upon arrival in Indonesia. There are no specific fees associated with this visa-free status for Filipinos. However, it is always prudent to check the latest regulations with the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in the Philippines or their official immigration website, as policies can be subject to change. Ensuring all documentation is in order will facilitate a smooth entry process.
