My two-night stay at the Aryaduta Makassar Hotel was truly memorable. I chose this hotel because I wanted to be close to Losari Beach. The location is very strategic, in the center of Makassar, just a short walk to the beach, close to everything, the 99 Dome Mosque, culinary centers, the gold shopping center (Somba Opu), and very close to CPI (Center Point of Indonesia) Makassar. The view from my room was very impressive because the room I chose had a beach view, so the 99 Dome Mosque and Losari Beach were clearly visible. Although this hotel is not new, I admire its cleanliness because it is always maintained, especially the rooms. The entire hotel staff was very friendly from the front desk to room service. Thank you to the Aryaduta Makassar Hotel for giving me a pleasant impression during my stay in Makassar.

The price of the room on Saturday night has not changed, but the facilities have been reduced, for example, there are no more cleaning supplies, there is no conditioner, hand lotion, and sandals that have no logo. There are no notebooks/pencils (wanted to complain, but there were none). The dirty water heater was not cleaned, I cleaned it myself and it was smelly (I called the receptionist but no one came). In the end, I didn't drink coffee. Breakfast has been reduced, fried foods are no longer available (a typical Makassar culinary concept). The menu can be updated, I have been here 3 times this year and the variety is still the same. The reason for choosing here is because the room is spacious and the bathtub is for children.

The room smelled musty. The door was faulty and wouldn't lock. After the hotel staff fixed it, it wouldn't open from the outside. We were eventually moved to another room, but it had a strong musty odor and there were rat droppings on the table.
