In my opinion, this property doesn't quite live up to 4-star standards. I booked a stay here based on great reviews, but my experience fell short. The hallways and rooms felt cramped and somewhat outdated, needing better upkeep. The breakfast options were quite limited and mediocre in taste. The main highlight is truly its location, which is very convenient and close to the city center and train station.

It's fun to stay at this hotel, it's inside the mall and if you want to go to Jalan Braga, it's very quick to just exit the mall and immediately find Jalan Braga which is very busy with visitors, not much different from Malioboro in Jogja.

The rooms are so far so good, but the friendliness of the hotel staff is very lacking. It's not that the staff are indifferent, but some of them (mostly 70% of the staff, who were mediocre, like me) are often preoccupied with themselves and don't greet or smile at guests, even though they know there are guests staying next to them or in front of them. It's a small thing, but it's important. Furthermore, the takeout food presentation is very poor. I asked for a takeaway sandwich. But for the price I paid for a 4-star hotel, it wasn't worth the breakfast I received. Honestly, the presentation and condiments of the sandwiches were much better and more varied than those sold at Family Mart, etc. It definitely doesn't reflect a 4-star rating.
