Thank you for every warmth in serving guests. Starting from the receptionist who greeted us cheerfully when we arrived and knew us well even though it was only our second stay there, to the security guard (I don't remember his name). But when we checked out and took out the car, he said to my husband "I remember your car, last week I was the valet for your car". Even though last week we only had dinner at Hotel Tugu, but because the parking lot was busy he helped valet it. The little things the staff did really made us feel very cared for 🙏 I will always stay at Hotel Tugu Malang when I go to Malang and stay in room 211 😊

Everything was absolutely amazing, without exception. We've tried almost every 5-star hotel and resort in the Malang and Batu areas, but Tugu Malang is the best. The art gallery, afternoon tea, massage, breakfast, furniture—everything was amazing, especially the incredible hospitality of the staff. I'll definitely be back.

Staff hotel sangat ramah & membantu. Makanan saat breakfast bervariasi & enak. Lokasi di pusat kota. Worth it untuk dicoba saat ke Malang :) The ambience is nostalgic. It's an old building but well-mantained. All the toilettries are packed in recycled paper (so eco-friendly). What I would suggest is improving the lighting in some areas especially the alleys. It's quite creepy to walk alone at night through the dark alleys.

A hotel that's always on my wishlist every time I go to Malang, and I finally got to stay here, everything is TOP. A small suggestion: I stayed in room 201, perhaps the plants on the side balcony (my room) could be trimmed so I can also see the view of the main road. When I tried to step out onto the side balcony, I was immediately greeted by towering plants blocking the view. The impression was gloomy and stuffy, but otherwise, I was very satisfied and will return to Hotel Tugu Malang again.

In my experience staying at 5-star hotels, Tugu Malang is probably one of the best. The entire building's architecture, ornaments, furniture, paintings, and statues create a sense of comfort that's hard to describe. The restaurant is also top-notch, allowing you to choose any combination of dishes from the menu, while still offering a mini-portion buffet. This is certainly good for the environment and reduces food waste without sacrificing guest satisfaction. The hospitality and service from the entire staff are also excellent.

The only hotels recognizing my partner (non-Indonesian), therefore the front staff greets us in English. Not only that, we received complimentary head and neck massage, great strategy, also with afternoon tea and tour of the hotel. I’m from Malang. This hotel is well known, and I will definitely recommend and be coming back 🥂

It's a shame there are so many bad rumors about haunted or mystical places. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels, from the theme, the staff, to the gestures like greeting cards and free complimentary massages. The Melati restaurant is also top-notch, the pecel rice is delicious, and the traditional snacks are top-notch. The only downside is that the hot water isn't hot enough for a bath, so my partner didn't take a bath even though he bought a bath bomb. I stayed in room 101.

My first stay here was for a running event. The staff were very friendly and helpful, both in the lobby and in the restaurant. The hotel also smells so calming and pleasant. We got a room on the ground floor, so it had easy access. My son was delighted to stay here.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Wawan, who was quick to assist with luggage. They provided a welcome drink while waiting for the room to be ready. The room amenities were also in good condition and fully equipped. The breakfast menu was varied and tailored to guests' needs. Afternoon tea also served delicious snacks. ✨ I'd love to go back there sometime.

We've been wanting to stay at Hotel Tugu for a long time, and it finally happened. The entire team was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. There were plenty of photo spots, but some we didn't get to see because we only stayed for one night. We'll be back with more friends. Check-in was super fast 👍 Loved the vintage feel. Thank you Hotel Tugu for making our anniversary so memorable 🙏🥰
