Lava View Lodge

Rooms are clean and spacious, especially the family room. The view is amazing and can see Mt. Bromo from the balcony. Food in the restaurant was delicious, especially the grilled ribs and the fried chicken. It would be better if the hotel was getting some renovation and had a modern look and feel.

The hotel has a great location with views of Mount Bromo right outside. The accommodations are basic; there's no air conditioning, but the hot water is sufficient, as expected from a mountain village. There's a restaurant on-site, and the food is quite good.

This hotel has a stunning view of Mount Bromo. A jacket is a must, as it's very cold at night and in the morning.

Pros: - Beautiful view from the front of the hotel - Varied menu at the restaurant - Jeep tours and drop-offs to Probolinggo are available. Cons: - No express laundry service is available for guests whose clothes are dirty after the jeep tour. - The water heater requires a special trick to operate.

Very cool.. It's perfect if you bring your family to stay here... The room is comfortable, the most impressive thing is that just a short walk in front of the hotel we can really see Mount Bromo directly... The view of the sea of sand is incredibly beautiful... While sitting with our family we can enjoy the beautiful sunset... Early in the morning we were picked up by a jeep... It's all about location...location...location. Rooms are pretty average and bathrooms below average. Food in their restaurant was good though.

very disappointing. - I ordered a cottage type room, which has 2 rooms, with the hope of getting a good view, it turned out to be a dud, the view was roof tiles, even though the price was expensive, there was no previous note. - The name of the room is quite expensive, at least there is a view, this is just a building view, very disappointed. - The bathroom sink is leaking. - During breakfast, it was stated that breakfast was for 2 people, even though the cottage type is for 4 guests, at the reception it was also stated that breakfast was for 4 people. Until I showed proof of the order to the restaurant when breakfast, I didn't want to be considered stealing food. - This is the first time I've stayed in Bromo, it's very disappointing, I won't be returning to this hotel again. - For management, please pay attention, there are many new and good hotels in Bromo, if the management is still disappointing like that, guests will definitely leave in the future, especially at such an expensive price without getting a view at all.
