Fabulous location. The hotel is located down a mainly pedestrian side street in the city centre and has a dining area in the courtyard which is shaded by coconut trees. In general, it is a peaceful hotel considering its location and popularity with families. The staff are friendly and polite. Great place for a city base when visiting Jogja.

I just stayed there yesterday. The room smelled nice and was clean. It's close to the station. It's just a short walk to Malioboro. You can leave your luggage before checking in. Stay here next time you go to Jogja. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right near Malioboro, as soon as you exit the alley you're straight onto Malioboro Street, in front of the alley there's a shop selling the famous Samijaya spring rolls, it's the best๐

On the first day, the water went out in the morning because the water tank had been forgotten to be filled, the towels weren't clean, and the room wasn't soundproof. Breakfast was uninspiring and tasteless. The staff was very good, and the location was close to Marioboro.

Overall, it's a good recommendation, especially for tourists with a tight budget. Although it's in an alley, access to Malioboro is close (from one end of the alley) and access to the station is close (from the other end of the alley). I happened to be in a room on the 1st floor, which has 2 doors from different sides. Maybe because it's an old hotel, the bathroom needs repairs, one of which is the shower drips even though it's turned off, there's no place to put toiletries (toothbrush, face wash, etc.). And the AC can only be directed downwards, not swinging. So it directly touches the body.

The first time I got a clean, fragrant and spacious room, but unfortunately it was right at the end of the hallway and there was a lot of noise from the running water. The next day I asked to move, and the room I got was not very clean, the sheets were dirty and looked like they hadn't been changed, and there were lots of thundering sounds that I initially thought were rain, but the sound was there all day long.

The hotel is close to Malioboro, down an alley about 3 minutes to the lobby.
You can't get in by car.
The service was quite friendly, but there's no freezer. We wanted to store dim sum, but they gave us a regular refrigerator (no freezer). So, we couldn't eat the dim sum for tomorrow.
There's no additional breakfast (without breakfast).
So, if you order it without breakfast, you can't eat it and buy it that morning. They say it's already suitable for guests and they're afraid it won't be enough.
I thought it would be like other hotels, but it's understandable because it's cheap.
The blanket wasn't very clean, it had blood stains on it, and the AC leaked on the second day, so we didn't use the AC before checking out.
Please improve the facilities for the comfort of tourists and I recommend it to other visitors.
