Beautiful spot very Zen little complex! The rooms are super comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful! Nice pool too! The hotel is tucked away in a little neighbourhood close to a mosk! The breakfast is à la carte and is absolutely delicious! The staff are very friendly and kind and very helpful!! I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, and the family who manages the property struck the perfect balance—always available if you needed anything, yet never intrusive. The grounds and pool are spotless and beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast is made to order with plenty of variety, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. It truly feels like a little oasis. Don’t hesitate—stay here! With plenty of good restaurants nearby and Senggigi Beach just a short walk away (perfect for catching those stunning sunsets), Mama Bella’s Retreat is the ideal place to relax and enjoy.

Everything at the hotel was excellent, it’s a wonderful place to stay and a great base in Lombok. However, Sengiggi has really suffered from a fall in tourism due to natural disasters and a lack of investment as it fell out of fashion. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and some useful shops.

The staff here are amazing and very nice people they do what ever they can to help really great People location is great, there are restaurants on the main road breakfast is excellent price is very reasonable

Stayed for a week. Lovely property, well maintained. Staff are all welcoming, cheerful and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance and takeaways/deliveries - all great. Minor suggestion - net curtains across the outside doors would let light in and give privacy.

Everything was excellent: the atmosphere, the room, the breakfast, the staff, the pool. The calls to prayer cant be helped. Otherwise quiet. The restaurant next door doesnt look it but the food is delicious and cheap.

This was the best place we have stayed at so far. The room was fantastic as was the Aircon even the shower was amazing both hot and had pressure. Breakfast was great. The staff and service was without fault.

Ce fut vraiment agréable !! Bel emplacement et piscine très belle !! Même durant le Ramadan avec l’air climatisé qui roule nous entendions à peine les prières. Personnel super attentionné, petit déjeuner inclus simple et très bon ! Belles excursions autour de l’ile disponibles sur place ce qui est super pour voir de la région. Très beau séjour je recommande fortement!

This place is great only 10 rooms on the complex and 500 metres off the main drag. owners and staff are great and very helpful. Will be staying here again in the future.

I really loved stay here, everyone is really friendly and helpful. Its very quiet at times which is great when you want to relax. The only time it is not quiet is during the call to prayer from the mosque down the road but you get used to the sound.

It is like a small, beautiful oasis amid the still very evident earthquake devastation...we were very happy that we chose Mama Bella’s Retreat. Only downsides are the extremely loud broadcasts from the mosque in the near vicinity, often joined by others close by.

The personal service from staff was the stand out feature, location, and lovely pool grounds also rated very highly. Staff arranged scooters for us (at a steal $5per day), but even without scooters this is totally walking distance from the Main Street. I loved the chanting from the mosque throughout the day (bring ear plugs if you’re not keen on the early morning chants).

Second visit here, we promised ourselves and it’s a piece of paradise. Amazing gardens and pool, lovely individual bungalow with own seating area and all overlook pool. Staff are so friendly and genuine, guests too. Despite the visible damage from the earthquake the lack of tourists has taken its toll on the restaurants and many hotels but everyone is positively trying to bring the tourists back to this wonderful place and whilst there is a little less choice around with local business’s it’s all happily happening here in Senggigi and at Mama Bella’s. Definitely would come back for third time.

Mama Bella's was an absolutely amazing oasis in an unfamiliar land. A family-run business, the staff have a keen eye for detail and are customer-focused. The property has great amenities, including a pool accessible at all hours, sun chairs, bean bag chairs, and two hammocks. All are free of charge. The property is tucked away in Senggigi but easily accessible if one has Google Maps. The property is about a 10-minute walk from the main area in Senggigi. While breakfast is provided (very delicious by the way), you will need to head to main street for food. The immediate surroundings around the property is generally residential, but there are a few mosques around, which do have readings of the Koran happening over a loudspeaker well into the night. The rooms are good at being sound proofed, however, some sound does come through, so if you need peace and quiet, suggest to bring earplugs just in case. The rooms are spacious and equipped with good wifi. The washroom inside the room has a sit toilet and hot water. Note not to turn the shower on a full pressure otherwise the hot water runs out in about 2 minutes. Overall, a great place to stay in Senggigi. Very good value and would recommend to anyone.
