Meno House

This is such a delightful property. Relaxing, comfortable, and friendly. The people were all amazing (Yuri, Jael, Iggy, Sandi, and others) and they took exquisite care of us. Communication before we arrived was truly excellent (thanks, Jordan) and they helped us to arrange our travel to and from the resort, providing helpful recommendations. The food at the restaurant is top notch, especially for a beach island, and the whole resort was clean and well kept. We walked around the entire island (about 3 miles) and this felt like the best resort of all. BASK is more boojey and higher end, for sure. But it doesn’t feel authentic or beachy. Just like a fancy hotel that’s been built where it shouldn’t. Meno House strikes the perfect balance: it feels luxurious without sacrificing authenticity and charm. We would go back here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at Meno House for 4 nights during our honeymoon and were drawn in by the peaceful location, boutique feel, and beachfront setting — and in many ways, it delivered. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern, and perfect for a romantic escape. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean and private beach with sunbeds were ideal for relaxing. Breakfast was consistently delicious (especially the coffee), and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also loved the thoughtful honeymoon cake waiting in our room on arrival. Snorkelling and diving off the beach were highlights, and the hotel offers free snorkelling gear and bikes (though cycling through sand was a challenge!). However, a few things let the experience down. On our first night, we found stained bed linen, a towel with holes, and a large cockroach in the room. Bugs also got in easily through the bathroom door. The staff responded quickly, and the manager, Jordan, arranged pest control and offered a complimentary cocktail. Still, despite being on-site later, he never approached us directly — a personal check-in would’ve meant a lot. Also, though Meno House is marketed as adults-only, children were present in shared areas, and transfers could be better value. Overall, it’s a stunning, peaceful spot with real potential. With a little more polish in hospitality and quality control, it could be truly exceptional.

The staff were very attentive and helped us with everything from tips around the area to helping us get the ferry back.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Nov’24 and wished we had stayed for a week. This is a wonderful hotel where the standards are exceptional and you really feel like you are their only priority. The attention to detail in every area is superb. Set on a perfect beach with its own coral reef straight out from the shore and turtles that swim up to the beach! The vibe here is totally laid back, no motorised transport (horse & cart to get around if you don’t walk), beautiful scenery, no banging tunes - just a romantic piece of paradise. Value for money on the whole island is incredible and this hotel was no exception, even pricing the things you pay for like drinks and massages in line with local prices. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

Perfect in every way

An absolutely beautiful hotel located on a clean white beach. Rooms, facilities, food and especially staff were all excellent. Cannot recommend high enough.

This property is the absolute best on Meno! Not just the location right in front of Turtle point but the exceptional staff who sacrifice time with their families (who live on the mainland!) to make us feel at home!! They are incredible and we are humbled by their hospitality. The property itself, pool and grounds are beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you Meno house!!!

This place is closed to paradise! Right in front of the turtle sanctuary, amazing sun sets, excellent pool, outstanding service, excellent food etc etc Our separate and well built unit was facing the beach, we had breakfast on our private deck, excellent view etc etc

We showed up to the island without reservations and walked around the whole island looking at rooms/properties. We ended up booking this after seeing most of the properties on the island. Our birthdays are back to back so I decided to splurge and book us this place. The rooms are band new and very nice. The outdoor shower was really great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend did a great job of surprising me with this island trip and the staff was able to help me surprise her the next morning with a wonderful birthday breakfast surprise. Excellent job Meno House! The only issue we had staying here was the electricity went out for about half a day. That was inconvenient and I hope this new hotel has ironed out the issues of a newly opening property.

Wow !!! A beautiful place ! I wanted to stay there forever ! My room was so so beautiful , clean and comfortable . The bathroom a real dream and the view unbelievable ! The staff so lovely . It was a dream having breakfast on our little balcony in front of the ocean or a drink at 5:00 pm delivered to us . thank you

Best hotel in the island, lovely in every aspect. We Love it!!

Vi bodde på totalt tio hotell under vår bröllopsresa, och detta var utan tvekan det bästa. Servicen var fenomenal, mycket tack vare den varma och hjälpsamma personalen som verkligen gjorde vistelsen speciell. Vi bodde även på flera femstjärniga hotell under resan, och servicen och maten här var fullt i klass med de bästa, och bättre än många av dem. Rummen var fina och väl omhändertagna, men det är kombinationen av service, mat och läge som verkligen gör Meno House unikt. Maten var jättebra, både frukost och middag. Läget är dessutom perfekt, med en underbar strand, en jättefin pool och riktigt bra snorkling precis utanför stranden. Vi såg till och med havssköldpaddor. Kort sagt: Meno House blev en av höjdpunkterna på hela resan, och om vi besöker Giliöarna igen är valet självklart. Vi bor här igen.

Meno house was my best hotel experience so far. Its only six rooms and only adults at the hotel. The food was fantastic and the staff was soo friendly. We could borrow bikes and snorkeling equipment for free and we saw big turtles just outside the beach. The rooms are wery clean and well planned. We wish we could stay for another week.

Bel Hôtel avec peu de chambres , ambiance calme, sur une des plus belles plages de l’île, à quelques mètres d’un des spots où l’on peut nager avec les tortues. Excellent séjour !

Ett fantastisk opphold på Gili Meno. De ansatte gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha ett fantastisk opphold. Ett pluss er at hotellet ligger rett på stranden og du spaserer rett ut i havet og kan snorkle med skilpaddene. Meno House anbefales absolutt til alle som skal besøke Gili.

Som nämnts ovan är Meno House härligt vackert, vid stranden, och ger dig väldigt liten anledning att lämna! Vi älskade varje sekund av vår korta vistelse och beklagar redan att vi inte bokade en längre vistelse på ön. Meno house är det bästa lilla boutiquehotellet på Gili Meno (eller till och med alla Giliöarna). Du hittar 6 mycket vackra privata villor på fastigheten, en stor fin infinity-pool och en fantastisk strandfront med möjlighet att upptäcka många sköldpaddor i havet! Vi kände oss mycket välkomna att komma hit, hade en smidig och snabb kontroll med en fantastisk service från personalen! Villorna är supermoderna, eleganta och mycket vackra. Jag älskar marmor promenad i garderob, badrum och utomhusdusch (wow!!). Allt är superfriskt och rent och lukten är fantastisk. Du hittar allt du behöver i rummet och en välfylld minibar, ja, allt du behöver! Utanför har du din egen lilla terrass med en mindre sittgrupp och en större soffa! Restaurangen serverar fantastisk färsk mat och än en gång, det bästa vi hade i Gili hittills, wow! Stor personal och dessutom hittar du den bästa kocken här, så om du bestämmer dig för att missa det fantastiska boendet bör du åtminstone ta en bit i restaurangen. Jag låter min bild prata för sig själva och betygsätta denna vistelse som NUMMER EN i Gilis! Romantisk, privat och helt perfekt! Vi ÄLSKADE denna plats och kommer tillbaka, säkert
