Omah Jegok (OJ) exceeded my expectations for a vacation with Simba, a cool and crazy 10 years old dog. This is a place that is "secluded" but close to various tourist locations in Jogja. * As an illustration, Prawirotaman is only 20 minutes at peak hours - 6 pm and 7 minutes off peak, pet safety. OJ is not just a "pet friendly" or "pet allowed" place, but OJ has a superb pet safety design with layered doors and a high fence that makes it unable to escape even if it has wings or a jet pack suite. A wide open space with pet safety is guaranteed to make it comfortable and safe so that I and Simba really can feel "time running slowly" on this holiday, if in general I only spend relatively little time in my place of stay (a kind of pet friendly hotel), but at OJ I could enjoy fully staying at OJ. The manager and owner of OJ is very friendly. the environment around OJ is a beautiful and natural bamboo forest, very epic for me to take a walk with cymbals and take pictures. Restaurants and bars are right next to OJ, beer and vegan food with natural concepts are available "directly from garden to the table". It's not a kind of bar that we often meet to look for crowds but beautiful places suitable for relaxing and spending time. I will definitely come here again. OJ offers a full vacation concept with doggie.

S like home! really like at home, the environment is clean, Asri and far from the crowds (this is an important point) because I feel really holiday while wearing it, the rooms are clean, clean lavatories, parking for those who bring private cars is safe, there is the pantry also the date we buy just cooking ingredients can cook. And don't forget for the Began, here where you can enjoy a variety of delicious menus, so the owner has a restaurant business too. for animal lovers, this is where you can vacation with pets without having to fear being uncomfortable with other guests and who is sure, the owner is really friendly! The place is recommended for use!

An exciting experience staying here. the area is a bit remote, but comfortable. On the edge of the village, near Kasongan. A little far from the center of the cities. For those who do not like animals, it can be considered because there are many dogs and cats, but for us it is very exciting because we like cats and dogs, when the night is dark the entrance but overall we love this place so much. Hint: The owner is a member of the indie band famous in Jogja, which we just knew the last seconds when I was about to return.

A unique place at a cheap price for backpackers.

I chose Omah Jegog because of its location far from the city center. From the review photos on the online website, it looks beautiful, there are green trees, and the room I choose is made of wood. But unfortunately, without reducing my gratitude to the staff who have welcomed cordially, I was 'forced' to convey an unsatisfactory experience while I stayed at Omah Jegog. First, I already learned from a previous review that there were many cats and dogs in Omah Jegog. This doesn't matter. But unexpectedly, as soon as I will go into the room area, smell of dirt. My room is also adjacent to the animal area, although there is a barrier, but if the window curtain is opened, the smell of dirt immediately spreads. Second, the atmosphere in Omah Jegog is very beautiful, right next to the river. On the side and back, there are shady trees. For those who want to get close to nature, of course they will really enjoy the sound of frogs roaring, crickets, and the creak of bamboo in the wind. I like it too. But I finally asked to move rooms, because on the ceiling of the room made of woven bamboo, I heard the noise of rats. Third, in terms of cleanliness it is very disappointing. Dust sticks to almost every corner. There are even sawang and spider houses. Likewise on the floor, table and chairs. The water in the bathroom also flows small. Fourth, it does not support privacy. A bathroom that is slightly open and can immediately see bamboo trees can indeed cause its own sensations. But this is a danger for privacy, especially at a distance of several meters from the bathroom there is another gazebo, which according to my calculations, from there can see the activity in the bathroom. Still a matter of privacy, there are some windows that are actually good for ventilation, but unfortunately only closed bamboo curtains that are not tightly closed. Window holes are also only installed in wood. So, activities in the room can be seen from the outside. Fifth, with facilities that don't seem to be managed seriously, the price that I can get is too expensive. There are still many other inns in Jogja at competitive prices, but more promising in terms of cleanliness, comfort and privacy. Sixth, in Omah Jegog there are many cats and dogs. The manager seems to understand guests who are Muslim, so they don't allow dogs to roam freely. But the cat was released. For me this is no problem. It's just that, if someone is easily surprised by the sound of dogs barking, this place is not recommended. Seventh, the location is far from the department store. There are no shops around. Access from the highway is still tens of meters to Omah Jegog, with views of shady trees on either side. What's easy in the atmosphere of 'horror' is not recommended here. Additional information, I stay here alone, as long as it's safe. It's just that after asking to move rooms can close your eyes more easily and calmly. For Omah Jegog, my advice needs to be considered again about cleanliness and comfort. Friends who want to get close to the trees and the river, plus the bonus of sniffing cats, Omah Jegog can be an alternative. Thank you

It's so nice and amazing place, good facility in home stay. just information, there is not reccomended for who don't like the dog. in this place you might find so many dog but still save for staying😁
