Perfect place to stay, nice room connect with lagoon, taste indian food, delicious food in restaurant, cheese cake was yummy. Only miss buffet breakfast before pandemic.

It is good to enjoy short getaway at Sheraton Yogyakarta. I chose Lagoon Suite or Club Suite room for my stay. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious with direct access to semi private room. There are varied menu available during breakfast and all foods that I’ve tried are tasty. Lagion suite room’s guest also will get evening tea for two people. For us, the “evening tea” provided was enough to be my dinner because not only tea, the hotel also give us sandwich as appetizer, pasta as main course, fruit juice as drink, and a lot of sweets as dessert. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I would please to recommend this hotel

It is a vast hotel, great for family, the bed is also big enough for 2 adults 1 kid although the mattras need to be updated. Food is great, check in process needs to be speed up.

Summary: This is not a 5 star hotel nor should bear the name of Sheraton. Booked two rooms to attend the Prambanan Jazz Festival. Arrive at the hotel at 13.00 and asked to wait due to the room is not yet ready, understandable. Check back with the receptionist at 14.30, she said only have one room ready. So we go to the room only to found that the room have not been made up. Apparently there's a mixed up, the room next door is the one that is ready. My family rest for a while and left to attend the Festival at 16.00, the other room was still not ready. We came back from the festival past midnight, and only to find the Coffee Cup there is filthy, I attached one picture. And there's no hair dryer in both rooms so my wife and my two daughters have to sleep with their hair still damp (in the morning, the sent one hairdryer, so my family need to take turns). The room is newly renovated, but apparently by a real unprofessional team of contractor. There are still paint blots all over the floor and the mirror above the pantry is full of paint spray marks. There's no room service menu, some electric plug and light switch is not working. Basically nothing like a 5 star hotel. Also, there's no manager on duty can be seen. So my personal opinion, not only the hotel need a renovation, the management should also be reorganized.

Comfortable ambient, love the aromatherapy scent infront of the room. Suggest to take room with lagoon access. Extra breakfast cost may be reduced, too much expensive.

My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the check-in experience. The check-in time was clearly stated as 3:00 PM, but when we arrived at 4:15 PM, our room was still not ready. Despite arriving well after the designated check-in time, we were only told that the room was"being prepared"with no further explanation. We had traveled from out of town with tired kids who had endured a long journey. Instead of being able to settle into our room and rest, we were left waiting with no indication of how long it would take for our room to be ready. This lack of organization and communication was unacceptable. We will not be staying at this hotel again in the future. I hope the management addresses these issues to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

My room was okay. The floor was a bit damage. Some tiles are off. The drain in the bathtub was a bit clogged. The technician came to fix it but during our stay, it was still like that. Other than that, all good. We chose to stay at a five star because of our daughter. I think you should promote those activities more. Put bigger banner at the lobby and near the pool, inform us when we are checking in. We knew that too late. We missed many activities that our daughter might want to join.

Pros: Swimming pool, swimming pool, swimming pool! This was the main attraction for me and my family! Nice and spacious! Room facilities seem to be in the process of improvement. The smart TV is great! Staff service was quite friendly, during breakfast it was also swift. Plenty of storage cabinets in the room. Super fast internet connection! North view of the swimming pool is good! There is a car to drop off to the main road, nice! Cons: The car park is far away, can be near the lobby but there is no shade at all, the car gets dirty quickly because the weather is sometimes rainy and sometimes scorching. Also not organized. Somehow the mattress felt loose and uncomfortable. No hangers in the bathroom, simple but a bit annoying. Unfortunately, they asked for feedback on the stay to the room phone above 8pm. It's a bit annoying, my suggestion is maybe better in the morning before checking out.
