Snooze Hostel Malang

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is calm, you can cook for yourself... so it's like staying in a boarding house for a day hehehe. If you're too lazy to cook, you can go to the cafe, it's also close ~ retail stores are also close... the mosque is also close... it just depends on whether you want to walk a little or not hehe. Just choose the dorm, the room is spacious, it's not a capsule anymore, I'm 175 cm tall and can still stand up straight even though I got a room upstairs haha. One advantage is that you can leave your things while waiting for the transportation schedule. Although the rules are strict about checking out at the specified time, you are allowed to leave your things, so you can go for a walk to the market or to the city hall first... The downside is there is no prayer room, but it's okay because the staff gave me a fairly spacious place in the living room. So far, I've been using a dry toilet, which is a bit of an adjustment for me. Next time, I can stop by again, hopefully the service and staff are still as warm as this 🥰

I didn't expect it to be this worth it, the cleanliness, comfort, and service are really good, it feels like home, the staff are friendly, there is a kitchen that can be used for small cooking, so if I go to Malang, I will come back here again ❤️🤩

First impressions were very positive. The staff was very friendly, and we were greeted warmly, making us feel at home. We were initially briefed about the location and amenities. The rooms were comfortable and clean, even aesthetically pleasing. There are plenty of relaxing spots, and plenty of green spaces for a refreshing stay. Highly recommended, as its central location makes it easy to access everywhere.

Comfortable and friendly, strategic and worth it if only for a short time

The staff are very helpful and kind. Even before we arrived, they helped us book a tour to Bromo. The tour crew was excellent. Patrick, the driver, spoke English, took great photos and videos, and brought us to less crowded spots so we could return earlier. The hostel is within walking distance of the train station and close to a minimarket. It’s located in a nice and safe neighborhood, great if you want to go for a jogging.

Highly recommended, the place is very clean, very comfortable for a place with lots of foreigners, but everyone who stops by is friendly, especially the staff is very friendly, the location is very strategic, close to Klojen and Kayutangan, from the station is also just a short walk.

I would like to share my honest and unbiased review of this hostel. First of all, the location is strategic and excellent, very close to the train station, which makes transportation extremely convenient. Secondly, the staff are wonderful in terms of hospitality and communication. They are very welcoming, professional, and their English is excellent. Another very important point is cleanliness. Honestly, I have never stayed in a hostel this clean before. The rooms, the kitchen, and all common areas are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The internet connection is also very good and reliable. There is only one small issue that bothered me, and I hope it is not taken personally. The staff work very hard cleaning from morning until evening, and sometimes the cleaning feels a bit excessive. When I am sitting and working, the constant movement of staff passing by can be slightly distracting and uncomfortable. This is the only negative point I experienced. Other than that, everything was excellent. Thank you.

I stayed here for 2 nights for my Bromo-Ijen trip. I arrived pretty late, but there was staff on standby to help me. The staff were very helpful with both online and offline services. The room's interior was simple but quite comfortable. Thank you 🫶🏾

Best hostel I have ever been. The staff was very friendly. They did help us with everything, nothing was too much. We did book 3 good trips, it was perfect. Room also very clean, walking distance from train station. Definitely recommend this stay.
