It is very recommended to stay in this resort for who are looking a comfortable, clean, friendly and peace ambience. One thing, we can't order room service after 11pm. It should be managed better for the F&B services.

What a stellar experience! From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were welcomed with so much warmth and enthusiasm from every single staff member. I made a note that this trip was for my girlie's birthday, and they decorated our bed with rose petals, filled our bathtub w flowers, and even delivered a cake to our door while singing happy birthday. Denny, the manager, ensured everyone on the team was working in unison and now that we're at another resort in Uluwatu, we can't wait for our next trip back here at Wapa Di Ume in Ubud. Trust me, I rarely leave reviews- good or bad- but this was well worth it! This is the kind of resort that will shape your entire Bali experience.

Wonderful stay at Wapa di Uma Resort. It’s one of the most beautiful and serene places in Ubud. Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and everything was clean and well maintained. Special thanks to Dewa who was incredibly helpful and kind to arrange the last minute transport for me. Highly recommend!

Excellent service except for the one night they came beating on my door. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean. Moldy loungers so you didn’t want to lay on them. Gym was not available and my friend needed to work out; one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was it had a gym. No massages available. A lot of confusion surrounding the floating pool breakfast I ordered. I wouldn’t recommend doing that again. Staff at breakfast every morning were excellent and the food was delicious.

Just had 3 peaceful days here. Pure bliss. Staff go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. Choices at breakfast were varied. I ate all dinners here. Delicious food at bargain prices (compared to U.S.). Drink prices were not as cheap, but I'm not a huge drinker, so it was ok. I used their spa (was given 20% discount). They offer free shuttle to/from downtown Ubud. Honestly, so glad I didnt stay in town..crazy crowded. This was much more peaceful. They has a cultural night with traditional dancing. And the property landscaping is gorgeous!

The staff were service oriented, very hospitable from the start and checking in via WhatsApp for our needs/questions and also for a smooth arrival/departure. The room does not have a tv but that wasn’t a concern for us just something to take note. It is really big and clean, the bathtub was amazing as well though the water may not remain hot to fill it completely. The breakfast is not a buffet but more than sufficient with many vegan and vegetarian options. Overall I loved the property and would love to come back

We were welcomed with warm smiles. They showed us where everything was and assisted with our bags to room. They even learned our names and addressed us by name when they would see us. Wapa Di Ume is a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. It feels very traditional and formal, in both look and service compared to some other places we stayed while in Bali. The staff is all very friendly and professional, and happy to help. The rooms are huge, and very minimally decorated, which is both practical and calming. The super-sized beds are super inviting. The spa was lovely, we booked a couples spa package that included a Balinese massage, body scrub, and flower bath overlooking the jungle and grounds - perhaps the highlight of our stay. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the floating breakfast was lovely in the infinity pool, which we had to ourselves.

We booked the family villa and it was beautiful, just like the resort. Few resorts in Ubud have beautiful scenery like this one - right on a rice field (not terrace), with an infinity pool and a spa. My favorite part was that the resort offers activities like yoga classes and rice paddy walk. That was a nice bonus. They also arranged breakfast in pool but this felt a but overpriced considering breakfast is already included in the reservation and it was not any different. Areas of improvement are: 1) the gym - it’s in poor condition with some machines not working. No A/C. 2) entire resort is poorly lit at night. Lighting needs to be better. We almost tripped several times cause it was too dark. 3) pest control needs to improve - our room was full of spider webs and wasps. We wouldn’t care but it got to a point where we had bugs in our beds. 4) Communication - teach your staff English. We had tons of miscommunications with appointments. 5) The spa needs more attention. We had a bad massage here, towels were dirty, booked for 1 hr but lasted only 40 minutes. Masseuses were tired as it was end of day. 6) room safe was broken Based on these reasons, although I didn’t mind my stay here, I would rather stay at a different resort next time I’m in Ubud.
