What Guests Say About Their Stay

Lindsay

The restaurant in the lobby served reasonably priced excellent food with a lovely area for sitting and visiting. The breakfast that was included was amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful with information about tours, taxis etc. The rooms were clean and well made up. The hotel is central within easy walking distance to St. Stephen’s Green, trinity college etc. The bleeding horse pub downstairs is excellent and had amazing live music. The tesco’s express right around the corner was also very handy and had lots of options.

No A/C in the room. The room was extremely hot. When I spoke with the staff and the manager their excuse was that the weather rarely warm in Dublin….!!! The only thing they would provide was a fan. Other hotels provide portable A/C units, but not this hotel. It’s mind boggling that there are no other reviews mentioning the lack of A/C in the room.

I have been staying here for many years. The receptionist on check out was extremely rude and abrupt when I queried a charge. she mentioned I booked through a third party and not directly the hotel.I pointed out that I have stayed many times in the hotel over 15 years but she didn’t want to know about it and no consideration for a long term customer. The hotel itself is lovely and ideally located with comfortable rooms and good leisure facilities but the front of house reception member let it down in my opinion.

Gorgeous renovated hotel but there is no AC in the rooms. I’m sure it’s fine in off- season but we had the fan on full blast in late May when it was about 10c-15c outside. It was still too warm. The staff was great and service in the lounge was exceptional. The spin bikes in the health club are in the hallway where everyone walks by. ?? This makes no sense- maybe put them with the other cardio equipment so that people will actually want to use them.

We were in Dublin for a quick overnight, and found this hotel to be a great stay. It's a nice neighborhood close to lots of restaurants and pubs. They have a nice buffet breakfast, and a great gym. Although located in a bustling area, the hotel rooms are quiet.

Camden Court Hotel is one of those places that quietly gets everything right. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, professional atmosphere that feels both polished and genuinely welcoming. The staff stand out immediately—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile without being overbearing. It’s the kind of service that makes your stay feel effortless. The location is a major advantage. Just a short walk from St. Stephen’s Green and the heart of Dublin, it strikes a great balance between being central and still feeling calm and comfortable. Whether you’re in the city for sightseeing, shopping, or nightlife, everything is within easy reach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that make it easy to unwind after a busy day. There’s a sense of quiet quality—nothing flashy, but everything thoughtfully done. The leisure facilities are another highlight, especially the pool and gym, which are far better than you’d expect from a city hotel. Having a spa for relaxation is a real bonus, adding an extra layer of comfort and making it easy to fully switch off during your stay. Breakfast is consistently excellent, with a wide selection and high-quality ingredients. It sets you up perfectly for the day, whether you’re heading out to explore or to meetings. Overall, Camden Court Hotel delivers a reliable, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant experience. It’s ideal for both leisure and business stays.

The breakfast was expensive (16 euros each) for a buffet. We did it one morning but realised that we couldn’t eat so much food for it to be value for money. The pool and fitness suite was lovely and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was shockingly bad! It was fine down in the main atrium but in the bedrooms, did not work at all.
