This is my second stay at the Farnham estate hotel and Spa. I can say without a shadow of doubt, I will be back soon. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff are attentive without being intrusive. A real home from home. The facilities are first class and the grounds enchanting.

The hotel was everything we expected. It was very quiet at night even though there were two weddings going on. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing offering all you wanted to eat and the manager and assistant manager going around making sure everyone was happy. What can I say about the spa and pools. Setting was beautiful. Rooms were clean and well supplied. Would be helpful to have a small fridge in room and an ice machine in each area. Room service was great at delivering ice but they are very busy. Front desk staff were friendly. Staff in hallways could be more friendly and upbeat by simply saying hello, have a good day or any acknowledgment as you passed them. Spa was fine but jets were not working when we were there. Outdoor pool area was beautiful. Overall spa area was underwhelming. Golf course was lovely and reasonable price. Excellent rental clubs!

Room was not what you’d expect from a hotel of this quality. One of the two bottles of water in the room was opened and almost empty so wasn’t replaced after the last occupants. There was also some long hairs in the shower maybe 5 or 6 in a clump should have taken photos but I didn’t. Bar food menu is very limited maybe 6 items on the main menu. No daily specials either which a lot of other hotels do. On a positive note plenty of choice at breakfast but note doesn’t start until 8am before this they provide some items to take away from the reception area

Last minute stay. Have stayed here before. We were looking forward to the spa and pool. Unfortunatley all the jets in the indoor and infinity pool were out of order. This was disappointing.

We did enjoy our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was delicious. We had two evening meals during our stay. One was in steak restaurant which was superb. definitely five star the other was in. The Maxwell grill which I did not enjoy. The pool area in this hotel is very relaxing plenty of room to lounge and spa area is amazing. You also have really nice grounds if you want to walk we did have a couple of issues which the management put right for us immediately When we made them aware of our issues which made us feel our stay of our important to them because of that I would definitelygo back..

Room was clean, plenty of space and very modern. Shower pressure was very low, temperature good. At check-in, the staff couldn’t answer the most basic questions around eating areas and timings. Ate in lobby, dirty tables and food remaining on floor. Service quite slow and some food had to be returned however manager sorted this out. We were aware that others complained about the food. Breakfast wasn’t great, slow service for tea/coffee and had to wait a while for staff to restock eggs, mushrooms, sausages. The breakfast room wasn’t full at this stage. Within the spa there was no hot water for tea/coffee. Pool water could have been warmer, overall spa area was tired. Surprised there were no hot tubs.
