The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but I am sure I wrote that already. Very happy with our stay.

Great hotel in a lovely rural location with great views. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food was great also and we were given a complimentary check out of 12 noon instead of 11am. Lovely waterfall feature in grounds. Close proximity by car to Kinsale. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Kinsale Hotel and Spa. It is a modern, contemporary hotel very close to Kinsale with spacious, clean rooms, an open lobby area, adequate parking and a great balcony overlooking the water. The breakfast was great. The staff at the reception were very helpful and provided great recommendations. It's a ten minute drive to Kinsale.

The hotel was further from Kinsale than I expected but was able to get a shuttle bus to town but needed to get a taxi back. The pool area was having work and some facilities were out of action. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly. .

Beautifully situated in hotel grounds on elevated site overlooking estuary. 5 minutes drive into Kinsale. Large modern rooms, clean with large bed and great views. Hotel reception and restaurant bright and airy. Dinner was average and breakfast on the first morning was awful. Self served cooked breakfast was warm at best and running low or out of components. Plates, although looked clean, had a gritty feel as if dishwasher not correctly functioning. Breakfast on the second day improved.

One unhappy experience at reception with an offhand and rude male receptionist. The hotel apologized and everything since then has been perfect, so much so that we added another night.. dining room staff went the extra mile and were thoughtful, helpful and friendly.
