O'Sheas Hotel Tramore

Last minute trip to Tramore, hotel was nice enough, the room was cleanish and the bathroom was in need of decoration...paint peeling from the ceilings, couldnt get hot water from the shower, had to run for 15 mins to get it luke warm and the drainage was bad so almost spilled over the shower tray before I got in, some would say the place was quaint and traditional, I would say it was dated and in need of redecoration. That said I WOULD stay there again, staff were mega friendly and the breakfast was really good, if you dont spend too long in your room and I guess not that many people really do then its fine. Excellent location.

This hotel is a little older, but has a million dollar view of the beach. Only a few steps from the beach and places to eat.

Very clean friendly helpful staff. Breakfast v good and waiting staff excellent. Usual problem with single rooms. Although good value at O’Sheas and I couldn’t fault them for any other reason you still pay much more than half and room is much smaller and inferior to doubles! People on their own consigned to small back rooms!!

The Hotel is very clean and tidy ,the only thing that let it down was the bathroom it smelled of damp , the staff are great and very friendly , the Hotel has its own secure car park and near the sea .

2nd time to stay at O'Sheas. My room with window open brought in the sound of the Ocean, book in hand lullying myself to sleep, awesome breakfast and staff. Well done.

Great location and good facilities and a cracking breakfast in their lovely dining-room.

The room we had was small but adequate. Food was good in the pub.

If interested in walking plenty of different ways to walk and experience the beautiful scenery. People very friendly. Place very clean . Enjoyed the few days I was there.

except for the bathrooms loose fittings, wobble bath, cracks in the floor tiles, the grouting needing pointing on the wall tiles in parts and the broken paneling around the bathroom window needing replacing,the services from the staff was second to none.Very pleasant,Helpful, Very Friendly.The food is first class,entertainment every night.over all a really enjoyable 3 nights.Thank you very much.

Close to all you need to see is Tramore. Great breakfast.

Best place in Tramore- beautiful room with best beds and very spacious bathroom. Fantastic breakfast; great restaurant and music. Staff was A-1! We will be back' thanks, Noreen, Kenny and Ronan!

Its a good 3 star hotel close to beach and strand good service good staff clean rooms and no complaints

The hotel is well situated being right by beach. It benefits from having a car park but it is some walk from there up and around to the front door so would be awkward for anyone with lots of luggage or mobility issues. The hotel also does not have a lift which could be difficult for some visitors. The receptionist on duty was very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and a good size but bulbs were missing in 2 room lights as well as the mirror light in the bathroom. The toilet seat was loose and the sink loose from the wall. When I raised the matter of a lack of hot water in taps I was asked if I was letting the tap run long enough - I had but it seemed it needed to be about 5 minutes to get hot water whwn I tried again later. I ate in the bar & the carvery was excellent & service good. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good and lots if it and service quick and efficient. Overall the hotel was ok for an overnight but it is on need of some tlc particularly around the issue of hot water.

Service was good. Instead of giving us a family from with 3 beds, they gave us two rooms. However one room was a smoking room. Smoking was allowed inside the hotel as well.
