The hotel is within comfortable walking distance into the city centre, with the Brazen Head pub only a few minutes away. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room compact but had everything we needed, including tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was really comfortable. The continental breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were welcoming.

Clean room, great location, 2 negatives- the mini split was not powerful enough and the early check in is great, but having to wait till 12 on the dot … after paying the fee … is silly when we were waiting in the lobby for almost 2 hours.

The room was okay - under the bed I didn’t find particularly clean but it wasn’t too bad. Decent for the price, however I found my room incredibly noisy on the ground floor. I’d requested a quieter room but as I asked for early check in I could only have a noisier room on the ground floor. The noise from the breakfast room etc itself wasn’t bad, but for some reason my small bit in the hall the staff members seemed to use to step out for private phone calls and to chat amongst each other, right outside my bedroom door all day and even night long, 1am I had staff members having a long chat and a laugh directly outside my door. I found the breakfast way too expensive price-wise, but the offering of foods were okay. The one thing I wasn’t very pleased about was a note left for me. I got early check in as my room had already been cleaned, so I thought I was all clear to unpack my things and leave my personal belongings out. I took myself out for a wander (I was a solo traveller there for work) and came back to a note handwritten thanking me for my 5th stay at the hotel. Firstly, I don’t appreciate someone helping themselves into my room for this when it’s already been cleaned etc, that made me really uncomfortable. Secondly, it was my first ever time in Dublin and at the hotel so they’d got the completely wrong person? So someone helped themselves into my room to leave a note that wasn’t even related to myself

Room isn’t big, but who wants to spend 24/7 in a room. The room was very clean and had everything that was needed. The breakfast is basic, but nice. Not far from the city centre either. The staff are very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.
