Really great place! The only problem we had was with the sink, as it was a little clogged from the beginning. Otherwise, it’s a really nice hotel.

This is a handsome hotel in a good spot in town. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable but the room lacked some basic amenities like an iron and were slow to deliver when requested. Overall good value for money and probably would stay again.

Our stay at The Dean Dublin was very disappointing. We were woken at 6am by staff on the floor above (Sophie’s Rooftop Bar) clearing up from a private party the night before. The noise of tables and chairs being trailed across the floor was horrendous. This continued until after 9am. To make matters worse, we were informed at check in that noise was to be expected due to being next to a nightclub. The location of the room meant we were directly next to the booming music until the early hours of the morning with no attempt to soundproof the room.

I stayed in The Dean for 2 nights. On the first morning I made reception aware that there was a very bad smell in the room. They said they would get someone to sort it out while I was out for the day. When I returned that evening the smell was still there. I let reception know there was still a smell. They moved us to another room across the hall way. In this room I got locked into the bathroom, only for there was somone else with me, I would have been stuck in there until house keeping arrived the next day. We let reception know, but they seemed very uninterested. I was very disappointed with my stay and I would not recommend anyone stay

Room decor lovely but room was small and dark. Reception area crowded and uninviting. Getting to the room from reception not convenient either especially in the rain - going outside from reception then inside then outside through courtyard!

Loved the location - really close to night life and restaurants. Really cute hotel, elevator doesn't take you directly to your floor necessarily.. we did have to hike down 2 sets of stairs to get to our floor. Luckily we were only on 3rd floor and opted for the stairs for most of the trip. Room was cozy, but well laid out and bed was comfortable. Front desk staff really nice and helpful - absolutely would stay here again :) Only downside was they charged us the full hold for the room and then credited us back once we checked out rather than only have it as a hold on our card. We inevitably ended up losing money because of the exchange rates..
