An amazing weekend away with my partner, amazing room, comfortable bed, incredible views from our room, and we were able to have our pup with us too! The staff for so friendly, we even got cupcakes on our last day! We were unsure about getting food downstairs with some mixed reviews but we couldn’t recommend enough, cocktails were lovely and food was incredible. Super friendly staff in bar and restaurant too, brought us some water for dog, who was able to join us. We can’t wait to book again! Note, it is very lively on weekends as stated but the hotel provide ear plugs, music goes on til about 3am so if you want quiet you may want to book during week days

Beautiful room with a direct view of the beach and ocean. Hot tub was an awesome extra treat, but the YUGE tub in our room would have been enough. Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, especially for quality food with a beach front view.

Very quaint hotel. Dining on site for lunch and dinner; walking distance to coffee shops and other breakfast choices. Lovely, warm and courteous staff. Eager to please! We chose this place as easy to access from Dublin while getting used to left hand side driving and it allowed us easy access to Wicklow area which is beautiful! The bed in our room could do with an upgrade, both otherwise very pleased with our stay!

Too high costs with too few staff: it seems that the hotel’s management is experiencing or experimenting with staff shortages, particularly at reception. No breakfast. No parking (you need to look around, it was problematic during the weekend). The staff makes miracles: all were attentive and helpful (Amalia is exceptional). But the number of emails before check-in (and even before the check-out) is excessive: when you are on holiday, the last thing you want to do is read all those automatic messages from the hotel – you really need to reduce it. It was very noisy during the weekend. The staff is honest with you about that – we were informed. After we booked the room already (no cancellation possible). And when I say “noisy” it means that you literally sleep above the open bar with people drinking and laughing until 2am. No noise at the last Sun-Mon night. The rooms are greatly decorated. Nice embankment to walk or run, a nice beach to swim – but the one in Greystones (not far drive) is better.

The hotel room was spacious and beautiful, and had wonderful old world amenities, but in a newly upgraded way. I love the fact that at night you could hear the ocean waves crashing across the street. Additionally, the staff was helpful and super pleasant. What a great place to stay and in a beautiful area!
