Great location in center of town but still quiet. Parked car and walked everywhere for 2 days. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Lovely coffee shop and courtyard underneath. Host was very responsive. Would stay here again.

It doesn’t get more convenient than staying at the Post House! We showed up hungry when we arrived and walked 10 steps across the street to Max’s for the most delicious meal. Woke up thirsty for coffee the next morning and walked downstairs to the delightful coffee shop! We walked everywhere and we so delighted with the city as first-time visitors of Kinsale.

The apartment itself was very nice... however the communication with the owner was not very accessible! Also, if you rent a car parking is extremely difficult! overall, the apartment was nice however I think next time I think I would stay at a hotel that offered parking

Lovely location. Could be 5 star but was a bit dirty and rough around the edges. Kitchen had bare minimum with chipped plates and one pot and pan. Furniture tired, plastic chairs gave the apartment a tawdry feel. With a bit of elbow grease ( clean the baseboards etc) and a bit of money invested this could be a real gem. Toiletries looked as though they were from the dollar store. Art work found in the roadside… Kinsale was lovely and the dirt and cheap furniture was no match for the charm of this little town.

The location is excellent and Kinsale is well worth a visit. The apartment we had was quite dark, it was next to a courtyard which has a cafe therefore there is a covering which does not allow much light in. I felt that the cleaning was not up to scratch, cups and glasse hadn't been cleaned properly. The skirting boards could do with a dust and at the bottom of the shower could be cleaned better. (the shower door was missing) I would also advise a new toilet seat, I thought it was dirty but I think it was candle wax! For what we paid for three nights I would have expected better. The cutlery is cheap, cups and glasses mis-matching and hardly any cutlery or cups. No corkscrew, bottle opener or microwave. The entrance leading into the apartment is covered in bird droppings and feathers, it really should be cleaned daily. I didn't fancy eating in the cafe for that reason. Bring ear plugs as you can hear the aprtment above. For a bit of money spent on kitchen items and extra cleaning this could be a really nice apartment.

Decent enough place to stay. Definitely read the instructions to find it as it’s a bit hidden. A few hiccups on site but nothing that ruined our stay. Bring ear plugs as there is construction going on at the train station and I think a metal recycling place along the port so it got a bit noisy at weird times during the nite ear plugs solved that. No air conditioning and no fan so you will need the window open

Overall it was a decent place for my parents and I to stay for two nights while we were visiting Kinsale. The location was great and the coffee shop that was attached was so yummy and cute, turns into a wine bar later in the day. The place itself was okay, comfortable beds and plenty of space, but the kitchen sink dripped constantly and the only way to get it to stop was to pull the two handles towards each other. The owner/property manager seemed to recognize this because they had a bunch of rubber bands trying to hold the handles together but that didn’t work - still dripped constantly. We also never had internet, so never had TV. Our devices were showing the network but none of us could get our devices to actually connect to it. After trying to restart the modem multiple times I messaged the owner/property mgr about it and at first they were quick to email back and offered to come over to check it out. I emailed them back at about 9:30am to see if they could come over around 11am - I never received a response back ever which was disappointing. I’d probably pick a different place to stay next time.

We were in Apt 1 which was below ground level & therefore very gloomy. It was cold on arrival & it was an hour before it was warm enough to take our coats off. Modern & comfortable but a mismatch of cutlery & crockery (7 forks, 3 spoons, 1 knife). Bed linen looked very attractive but had a large brocade border which was very rough against the skin. Hot water apart from shower ran out before we could finish washing up.

Varun the host was great and readily available with any questions we had and we appreciated that we were able to check-in early. There was a problem with the wi-fi initially but Varun went out of his way to get it fixed as soon as possible. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything: pubs/restaurants grocery store, etc & a few minutes walk from the bus. Bedroom was a bit small but manageable, kitchen had everything we needed.
