Spectacular. Exquisite. Not enough positive things I could say about our stay here. The accommodation is lovely, staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, grounds with 2km of orchard hiking are just gorgeous... And the restaurant is superb. If you visit Sicily, this is where you must go. Thank you Villa Cefala!

Great location to base yourself in Palermo. Quiet beach within walking distance, public transit nearby or a short driving into the center of the city. Quiet estate with a large pool to relax in after a long day walking around and a fantastic restaurant if you don't feel like going out.

The building was lovely, the food was excellent. The room was comfortable. The pool was chilly, but it was the end of October so to be expected. The staff were charming. It was a little hard to find.

Wouldn’t know , we never got in the room. It’s in a nice farm area, but nobody home? or in the immediate vicinity….. About 6 units all empty & no cell service to make a call. There was a car in the back, so we stayed waiting and knocking for a least 1/2 hr. Ended up getting a room somewhere else. What can I say ….it’s a scam or very bad timing.

This hotel is peaceful despite being in a busy area between town and beach. Nearby main road and railway do not really intrude. Comfortable room for a stay of a few nights to explore north west Sicily with convenient train station for quick and easy access to Palermo. Breakfast perfectly adequate and good but pricey dinner. Nice pool and grounds. Friendly staff.

This is a great agriturismo, good food (breakfast and dinner) with really comfortable and spacious (superior double) rooms. The pool is a good size and there's almost enough loungers. The real downside is the area, the beach is the dirtiest, most rubbish strewn beach we've seen since Sierra Leone! There's a few good restaurants for the evening a short walk and it's clearly a bit of a local evening destination. The local train station is a bit of a walk but we were actually advised to drive to Bagheria where trains are more frequent and parking is easy and free - so really handy for both Palermo and Cefalu.

An excellent hotel for relaxing and doing your own thing. At times you feel like you have the place to yourselves. However, this hotel would not necessarily suit people who like/require attention from staff. The hotel would benefit from providing a little more service to those who wish to spend the day by the pool, such as, for drinks etc. But then again, this may change the feeling of tranquility....

The 18th century villa is set in an old citrus and olive orchard. The grounds and main villa are lovely and it was quiet during our stay at the end of September. The staff is lovely and very helpful despite their limited English and our limited Italian. The room was pretty typical of what we have seen in Sicily, but comfortable enough and very clean. The wifi was good - just about the best in any of the places we stayed over three weeks. But, I can't say enough about the two wonderful dinners we had at the villa's restaurant. All the veal dishes are superb as was the pasta and vegetables. Would definately recommend a day or two at this charming place.

The hotel was a rural type hotel with nice rooms, a nice pool but not really good for meals, we did try the breakfast which was disappointing at 12euros each and a dinner which was okay but nothing special. There are good restaurants and cafes nearby, within walking distance and the beach is close (but like all Sicilian public beaches it had lots of rubbish on the foreshore). Needs a hire car to get about.

A terrific experience. The hotel was outstanding, situated in lovely grounds where we enjoyed walking amongst the lemon trees. The room large, comfortable and clean was right beside the large swimmong pool which we mostly had to ourselves. The hotel is rural but close enough to bars and cafes that we could walk out for something to eat if not using the hotel restaurant which itself was great with lovely food. The staff really could not do enough for us. We do not drive, which meant more effort to get out and do things but with 2 train stations within what I would class as walkable distance we took the regular, low cost trains wherever we wanted to visit. (towns along the coast) Our one mistake was viviting Palermo whose markets had been reccomended to us. Palermo has become a squatter town for refugees and was dirty and over crowded; give it a miss. Travelling in the other direction though we found hot springs, nice beaches, a diving centre and friendly locals all keen to interact with us. Would go again.
