Airone Pisa Park Hotel

I was disappointed to find out that this hotel was tucked away in an awkward location. I read that it was a 15 min walk from the leaning tower of Pisa but it is actually a 15/20 minute drive instead. There is a bus stop fairly close by that tou can walk to but this only runs once an hour. The rooms are very basic but this is expected for the price however they are clean and comfortable. The pool area was disappointing as it looks nicer in the pictures than actually there. Lots of flies in the area too. The restaurant was very nice, great food and the staff here were very helpful too and it was definitely good value for money in here.

The location of the hotel is extremely inconvenient. It’s in the middle of nowhere. We used 3 GPS units and we still couldn’t find it. We got lost every time we try to go to the hotel. We couldn’t stay late outside because it’s impossible to find when it’s dark. The staff are impolite, rude, and not helpful. The room was not clean. The floor was dusty and full with hair and ants. The sheets have small blood spots. There is no refrigerator. When I left the room, I expected that they will change the sheets and clean the room. They didn’t do that, they just put new towels and made the bed leaving the same dirty sheets that we got when we get there. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

We only stayed for 1 night but it was very pleasant, we were happy to have a nice meal at their restaurant when we arrived later in the evening. The best part was waking up to see the views that we couldn’t see at night ... beautiful!

This is an amazing hotel, the breakfast is a buffet and it was really nice and fresh, the services they provide were good and there wasn't any trouble at all. The restaurant on the site serves nice food (bit overpriced) but no complains about the quality. The location of the hotel is the only problem here. Theres nothing around it, me and couple of friends didn't have a car so we were walking to pisa everyday which is around 45mins walk some of it doesn't have pavement or lights (if you are walking DON'T forget Repellent for mosquitoes). The walks in the morning and afternoon were nice, but at night it was bit dangerous as there were no lights or pavement (the bus stops working at 7/8PM.) There's also Careffour and Pharmacy close to the hotel around 25/30mins walk on case you need to buy something. If you have a car you should deffo book this hotel as it is amazing with free parking and in a quiet area. Away from the city, it felt really good for a city break, relaxing and they have a good Swimming pool. Unfortunately the table tennis was broken. Theres a bus E03 just 5mins walk to the main road which takes you to LUCCA (a must go) and to pisa (4euros eaxh ticket if you buy at the bus) . The hotel was nice and we will deffo go back again this time with a car even tho walking was fun in a group.

Nice hotel, Cool AC, clean rooms, cold pool nice on hot days, lovely showers, dog friendly. Reception staff Very welcoming, restaurant waiter rude and forgetful. Would recommend eating somewhere else. Would definitely go back.

A bit difficult to get to. Down a long country lane. Quite isolated but attractive and had character.

clean bedding and towels, ok pool and restaurant BUT tatty, tired room, flaking plaster, mould, broken fixtures and fittings, broken shower door, grubby just a hostel really, should be a quarter of the price avoid

Hotel on outskirts of Pisa and not easy to find in dark, public transport easily accessible.No public bar. Room was clean & tidy but basic.Pool was welcome and refreshing after a days sightseeing. Staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous even extending breakfast time after we overslept, chapeau.Bit of a trek into Pisa but the pool was a major attraction.

We stayed there a single night, it's the perfect location to take a night off from trecking and traveling on a high pace.

Very helpful staff-upgraded our room. Lady in charge of breakfast was really nice-lovely friendly face and smile and helpful too. Nice dip in the swimming pool which is an added bonus.

A good B&B outside city limit. Room and breakfast were good. Friendly staff.

Great hotel near to Pisa , great price, clean , free parking . Only downside were hard pillows and no English TV. Highly reccomended

The hotel is very nice, in quite, very beautiful area. The check in was excellent, despite we had arrived earlier than advised. Also they have nice restaurant in the premises.

This is a nice small hotel, it almost has the B and B feel but has about 20 rooms I think. The only drawback for me was finding the place, make sure you have a GPS.

Loved this hotel in the quiet country side just outside of Pisa (5 min drive). If you rent a car and are travelling around Tuscany and the north of Italy. This is a great central location. About 2.5 hours by car from Rome, it is about 1.5 hour to Cinque Terre - which is absolutely gorgeous, although some of the driving to get this is breathtaking and treacherous. Also about 1 hour by super highway to Florence. As this hotel is really not expensive (compared to pricey Florence) we drove back and forth to Florence. The staff were really wonderful. When we had an issue with our shower, they changed our room immediately. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. There is also a restaurant on the property which was very good - even overabundant on the servings. Beautiful view of the mountains as well.
