Hotel was much better than expected. We had a corner suite with a patio and a small balcony. View was spectacular! Bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast was good and fixed price dinner for 20 euros was a bargain and quite good. Only complaint, the safe in the room was on the floor of closet. You had to go on your stomach to read the numbers and no instructions how to use it.

This hotel is full of character with a charming outlook to the sea. It is quiet and next to the archeological gardens. The furniture and furnishings are traditional, artistic and very sicilian. The pool is salt water and always clean. The breakfast room is open with a view towards the sea. The evening dinner is varied with just enough choice and well presented. The staff are friendly and you can access the sea from the hotel with good snorkelling.

Fantastic setting & lovely staff! Pool & beautiful landscaping among lava rocks. There’s a small ladder that will lead you into the sea for a swim! The staff was super friendly, especially Manuela! Would definitely stay there again!

Everything is fine at this hotel which is in a beach resort and nothing to complain about but could be a lot better and not the standard of a 4*. The exception are he staff who were helpful. Positives - quiet location on sea front, 5 minutes walk to restaurants, free car parking and parking is a nightmare as well as driving Drinks same price as restaurants Things that could be better - towels should be free not 3€. Not a lot but why charge. Room needed balcony large enough to sit on, breakfast quality and selection not 4* standard.

the hotel is nice, somewhat old style furnishing. there is a nice pool and lawn viewing the sea. there is no beach because it is rocky. the staff is helpful and friendly at times. i don't think i would give this place four stars, the room was big but there was a shower separated from the toilet and in the middle of the room. the sink was also out in the room.. a bit strange to my opinion. bathroom amenities were poor. only a small soap bar and a little bag of shampoo. also the breakfast was less than ok and to my taste the coffee was terrible.

Our first trip to Sicily but hopefully not our last. Arathena Rocks has very spacious rooms, great air conditioning and all the amenities you need. There is a pool, garden area, restaurant and bar and plenty of peaceful areas just to sit and admire the seaside view. As others have mentioned, the decor could do with an update but I thought that added to the overall charm. We felt like we were guests at a grand manor (from the 70s maybe!) but the prices were reasonable and the staff were lovely. Many restaurants and shops in the area, close to everything you need and literally right on the water. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to return one day.

The hotel staff were lovely and view from Balcony wonderful and relaxing. Again as we found with many if our stays that if there are events being held at the hotel which may disrupt your stay you most likely will not be told. This was our experience as a wedding was on at the hotel in the hotel grounds which only started at 8 pm and went in through the night getting louder. Most unpleasant trying to sleep though the noise. The hotel itself was rustic and accomodating.

Arrived to be put in 2 singles despite the request for a double but within 2 hours the maid came around to push 2 singles together which made up a "double bed" (which pushed apart in the night). Wifi was only in public areas, when I told the receptionist that it advertised on the website, she simply just shrugged. Breakfast was quite poor

A really lovely stay with a friend here for 4 nights. A gloriously unique hotel design, with great little jumble-sale style furnishings, but in a typically Sicilian rustic design. Close to the beach, just a 8 minute walk away, bus stops into Taormina literally right at the end of the road, every hour, until 8.30pm. Although note that in high-season, you can get a bus back from Taormina until 1am, it just drops you in main area of Giardini Naxos, so you have to walk. But as 2 28yo ladies, we felt completely safe to do so. The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful, the views impressive and relaxing, and the general ambience quiet and rejuvenating. Recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Arathena Rocks hotel. In the quieter part of Giardini Naxos but only a 15/20 minute walk to main area of beach and restaurants. Staff were really nice and helpful. Bedding changed every 3 days and towels daily.

Great position, we had a room overlooking the sea. Set in a quite area of Naxos, but only 15/20 minutes walk to plenty of good restaurants and sandy beach. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, room was clean, and spacious. Salt water pool was great, plenty of sunbeds available. Maybe the only negative was the Hotel was a little tired around the edges, flaking paint etc.
