BAY PALACE MAZZARO'

Bay Palace is situated close to the beach with easy access up to Taormina by cable car. The views from this hotel are stunning.

Very welcoming staff and beautiful ocean views.

The location is so inconvenient there is nothing around if you need to walk somewhere it is so unsafe you’re so close to the cars on a main road. The hotel was not worth the price. I would suggest staying closer to the cable car if you want to see Taormina any transportation will cost you 30 to 50 euro.

A great hotel for an affordable price, perfect for anyone wanting to go to the beach with easy access. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Whilst the hotel is slightly dated it’s very clean and comfortable.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. A strange but possitiv thing is that the hotel is facing east/northeast which means the hotel is not super heatet during the day/afternoon ant therefor not to warmm in the evening which can be problematic in the warm season. This is sort of smaller problem with this hotel. Nice view from most of the rooms. We had problems getting any wifi signals in the room. They are working on it we were told. But in general we can fully recomend this hotel. We stayed in the hotel for a week mid october 2024

Not a 4 star. Dangerous walking anywhere since it’s on a hill and curvy road with no sidewalks or shoulders. Advertised parking but we were unable to park our car on such a 45 degree uphill parallel situation that we had to back up into with only enough room for 2 cars side by side. We had to leave due to this dangerous walking area and they did not assist us with a refund of any kind. They should advertise only small cars with excellent maneuvering skills. We had to get another hotel and pay double for remaining time. No private beach as advertised. Room had months old dust everywhere. No shower head. Furniture old and dated. The breakfast had flies all over food. One good thing was view.

The property is dated, however location, cleanliness & service was very good. I was in the deluxe room ocean view, worth the extra view was amazing. Front desk reception Laura & others were very helpful, breakfast was very good & service as well ,Cleopatra & others were always very attentive.

Not 4*. Bathroom shower was unusable with the shower head about 3 feet off the floor. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No restaurant available. Poor quality table and chairs on the large balcony.

This is quite a difficult review to write! In many ways we really liked this hotel, but found that the Expedia description was quite misleading. The Positives 1) The staff, especially on the front desk, were lovely! Welcoming, polite and helpful - couldn't ask for more! 2) The pool area was great, and with great views. 3) Free breakfast, not exactly luxury, but nice to have at no extra cost. 4) Fantastic views from breakfast room, pool, outdoor deck and from sea view rooms. 5) It's good value for the area, our room was quite basic but it was a fair size, comfortable and adequately equipped with good aircon. 6) A short walk to a couple of good free beaches (but it's hilly and not ideal for young children or the elderly). 7) Getting into town by bus/cable car was relatively easy and there are some nice places to eat within walking distance. The Negatives 1) No matter what Expedia says, this hotel is NOT on a beach, and it does NOT have its own private beach! There are plenty of paid beaches nearby, but that is an additional cost of 25 - 50 Euros per person/per day! Just as well we found the free beaches! 2) The hotel needs some TLC in places, our bathroom and toilet fixings were in need of some attention - it all worked, just looked tatty 3) Some of the other Expedia claims are a little exaggerated - there is pool bar open during the day, but no evening hotel bar for example. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but I would know what I was getting into next time!

Family room has the best balcony and views. Parking is very limited (5 spaces 25euros per day) so we ended up parking down the road at a private car park, free road parking is very competitive. Pool and bar is fabulous. Restaurant only serves breakfast so you have to walk down the road into Mazzarò. Good selection of places to eat.

Great service from the front desk. Close to the beaches and also the gondola nearby to get to Taormina. For beaches you can walk down to a free section called 'Grotta di Spisone', pass through the Spisona beach to get there.

We had a great four day stay, the rooms are very spacious and we had a huge balcony with an amazing view. The staff were absolutely perfect - really nice, polite and helpful. The view from the breakfast buffet is worth it and you can get nice drinks and some food at the pool. Access to the nearby beach club was also good, but it is an extra cost. In all we loved our stay.

My husbsnd and i stayed for 6nights and enjoyed our stay at Bay Palace. The view was amazing from our room and the pool was perfect place to relax with a fabulous view.The special lunch menu was very good and very well priced. The chef was adaptable for food options as well. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. A 10 minute walk we fiund wuite a number of good few restaurant and mini market and the bus stop eas very convenient. isobella walkimf distance and a very beautiful beach to enjoy. Ww had a great time here and we would recommend Bay Palace and very reasonably priced compared to other places near by. Thank you will be bsvk one day

Amazing sea view and family room for a few days.

Schöner Ausblick auf die Küste, schöner Speisesaal. Personal mit einer Ausnahme im Restaurant sehr bemüht und freundlich. Hotel insgesamt aus den 70er Jahren mit Bedarf an Renovierung. Ausgang direkt an der Straße ohne Gehsteig. Menüauswahl im Restaurant unzureichend. Parkplatz chaotisch und teuer, besser am zentralen Platz parken und 5 Minuten Fußweg. Frühstück im Hotel buchen, 10€ statt 25 über Expedia

Udsigten er fantastisk. Det er adgangsforholdene ikke. Tro ikke på parkering er tilgængelig. Du kommer til at holde langt væk og skal gå til byen m.v. På en stærkt befærdet vej uden fortov. Vitale oplysninger mangler om tilgængelighed. Men udsigten er god. Hotellet er lettere nedslidt og restauranten middelmådig.

Séjour agréable en famille proche de la plage public et des restaurants

Fint hotel men smuk udsigt, men ellers er der intet 4 stjernet over dette hotel. Værelserne virker lidt skrallede, dårlig morgenmad. Selv om udvalget næsten er ikke eksisterende af mad ved poolen, vil hotellets personale ikke have man tager egen mad og drikke med op på værelset.
