Ecohotel Primavera

We had stayed at the executive apartment. A renovate apartment. The apartment is very nice and clean with 2 bedrooms and additional bed sofa. Lovely pool near the hotel. No breakfast was included in our reservation and the rate for having one is 15eur per person. We decided to buy one at the supermarket. The owner was really nice and trying to help, however, they provide you with small soap and toilet paper for the entire stay. I was quite surprised to found out that we will need to buy soap and toilet paper… The hotel is 10 min walk from the city centre, although 2 min by car, and there was a comfortable parking place in the city center. Overall it was nice staying, but those little inconveniences were annoying

I would have to give this hotel a mixed review. The reception staff, pool and breakfast were wonderful, but there were some issues with the room. The air conditioning only worked intermittently and not during the night and when my bed collapsed during the night (a pull out bed to make up a triple room), instead of receiving an apology, I was asked not to ‘jump on the bed.’ I’m a 51 year old woman and unlikely to do this! Also we hired 3 bikes which were not in good condition with poor brakes.

Beautiful surroundings and helpful staff

We booked a stay for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenage children in an ‘executive apartment’. The apartment itself was clean and tidy but there was only one mirror in the apartment other than the bathroom which was tricky with 5 of us sharing one apartment. It was not considered to be a ‘room only’ hotel stay by the staff. We were told that it is a separate apartment and therefore we had to pay if we needed additional toilet rolls (1 euro each!). By far the most disappointing part of our stay was the continual argument with the hotel reception staff about the air conditioning. The hotel information clearly states that all rooms are air conditioned - which they are. However, we realised the air conditioning is controlled remotely by the reception staff who decide how warm or cold the rooms should be and override the setting you choose. Consequently we had several nights of poor sleep as we were not allowed to turn the air conditioning down. Our stay was in one of the hottest months of the year and we were told that we should just open the windows to let in the fresh air - and mosquitos! We had many utterly ridiculous conversations with the staff who simply could not understand why we wanted to be able to control the air conditioning or have it cooler than 21 degrees at night. They were also inconsistent, sometimes saying that the air conditioning was broken and waiting for an engineer, then saying it was because it was ‘fresh’ outside and that they are an ‘eco hotel’.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff and secure parking. The pool looked inviting but it was raining and cold when we stayed. We loved the eco friendly ethos of the place too. And breakfast had a tasty selection of foods.

First visit to Lake Garda. The 30-40 minute stroll into the centre of Garda was not an issue, indeed the location was preferable to being 'on the main strip' and most of it was through the lakeside gardens. Took return boat trip to Desenzano (slow boat down and fast boat back) which was the best way to see the lakeside towns. To Malcezine cableway by bus - details (and discount voucher) from central tourist office in Riva. Although we are 'active retired' and Riva is an important cycling, mountain-biking and water sports centre, we certainly did not feel we were in the wrong place. There are things for everyone to enjoy in Riva and without the steep backdrop of the other lakeside towns, it felt open and spacious. Finally......like the other lakeside towns and villages, Riva is so refreshingly clean (in comparison to many UK resorts), there is a complete absence of litter.

Good base for exploring, has a secure garage which is ideal for bikes and cars alike. Bit disappointed that the restaurant did not offer anything tangible on a night when the weather was bad, however there are very good alternatives locally 15 minute walk to the lake and a very quiet location just far enough away from the centre itself Staff very helpful and overall nice place to stay.

Very friendly service but a 15 minute walk from the lake and 20 to downtown. Definitely need a bike or transport. Rooms and facilities are basic and decent but honestly felt a bit overpriced for what we were getting. Would much prefer staying more central. And in something more charming in the price.

Booked for two nights clean and welcoming but not a hotel for couples

The hotel is family run and all the staff are very helpful. The rooms are modern and well appointed with balconies. The beds are very comfortable. We had a view of the mountains and surrounding countryside. The bathrooms are beautiful. The pool is not huge but is more than adequate and there was always plenty of space during our stay. The secure parking is ample and free. Breakfast is extremely good, although it could become a little chaotic if busy. Highly recommended!

Lovely management staff, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast aimed at German tastes but food generally nice, and staff keen and happy to satisfy special requests.

The cleanest hotel with the most helpful friendly staff my wife and I have ever encountered. Cannot rate this hotel high enough. Very comfortable rooms, all with balcony and air/con. Free sunloungers with padded covers. Very good continental breakfast.

Very clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative as other reviews point out are that it is a bit far from the center, not a problem if you have a car but rememer you might fancy a nice glass of wine or beer in town. I would stay again mind.

Sauberes Zimmer, ausreichendes Frühstück, kostenfreie Tiefgarage. Bei der WC Spülung fehlte der Wasserdruck, kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Nettes Personal

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Primavera. Schön war die ruhige Lage abseits der Hauptstraße. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Sauberkeit und das besonders freundliche Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank...

Gute Stellplätze für Fahrrad und Auto. Bei Sonnenschein auch kostenloses Laden des E Autos möglich. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Schone kleine Appartement mit cool kleine Spielplatz fur die Kindern. Leider bisschen weit entfernt von der Stadt. Nett Mitarbeiter!

Mysigt boende bland vingårdar och olivlundar. Poolerna var bra temperaturer och rena och fina. Vi hade två rum med balkonger till varje. Det var ca. 1km gångväg ner till den lilla hamnen och Gardasjön. Bäddsoffan var inte så bekväm, hade änskat en bäddmadrass.
