Giardino sul Mare

The location and views from the hotel are great. It has a great pool and access to the sea. The property itself is very old and no-frills. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Loved the swimming pool and the beach access (private and accessible for hotel guests only) at this place. Just beautiful. Dinner was simple but tasty and we loved it. Breakfast buffet was included with our room booking - lots of it - mostly cold meats, cheese, yoghurt and bread/sweet croissants, along with coffees and juices. Sea views from the downstairs dining room are great! The staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue would be the room. Just a tad dated - the decor is looking a little tired (but the room is very clean). And our room was the furtherest to the right when looking out at the sea which meant we were close to motors or generators??? We could see them from our balcony. Not sure what they were but they were ugly and noisy. I would ask for a room on the left hand side to avoid this. Fortunately the weather was warm so we had the air conditioner on so you couldn’t hear this when in the room. Still, these cons didn’t detract from our stay and I think the value of this hotel is overall very good. We would stay again.

Great location! Easy walking distance from main streets. Super clean and AMAZING view for breakfast (and delicious breakfast). Great value for money, would go back any day!

Excellent location, lovely pool, loved to have access to sea for swimming, clean, good bed, goid shower pressure, ok breakfast, a/c worked well first 3 days than stopped on our last day.

This is a charming hotel, with a great view of the sea. It's in a great location. At first glance, you might think it's out of town - we booked it even though we thought it was. But actually, just a few steps down the road, you are in the middle of the charming part of the town. There is also street parking right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. We also appreciated that, when we had an early ferry on our day of departure, they arranged for breakfast to be available prior to the normal hours. This is an example of how accommodating the staff is.

The location of Giardino sul Mare was fantastic, walking distance to most attractions. The views from the pool and dining areas were amazing with ocean access for swimming. The location of our room was a little noisey in the mornings as was close to reception (room #227), the room size was good and very clean. The breakfast was OK felt the pastries could have been supplied fresh and not frozen, there are so many delicious pasticceries in beautiful Lipari. My only other complaint was NO AIRCONITIONING!! We were not told this on booking and when asked about it were told quite abruptly that it was down and would be fixed tomorrow or next day...never was and management never brought it up or asked us if we were comfortable or if there was anything else they could do which was disappointing. The issue is the air con is a very old system and really needs to be replaced.

With a beautiful setting beside the ocean and easy quick access to Lipari town down a narrow mainly pedestrian street, this hotel is a very convenient place to base yourself to take full advantage of what Lipari has to offer. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms agreeable; those on the ocean side have amazing views and great balconies. Public rooms have great art.Highly recommended.

This Hotel has a fantastic location on a cliff overlooking the entry to the port. Steps zig zag down the short stroll to sea level with seating along the way. Lovely swimming pool We didn't have a sea view from our room but we spent a lot of time outside admiring it from the terrace. Magical. Staff friendly and helpful.

A great hotel with an amazing view. Everything was great except that out fridge did not work and reception would not fix it. The pool and the view is sensational. Breakfast is average.

We especially loved our sea view room with balcony, sitting on lounges on the cliff near the sea and by the pool. The town is lovely, great walks down flower-filled narrow streets, places to share a glass of wine while watchin people walking.... Very friendly and helpful staff--they even were up early to make us cappuccinos before our early hydrofoil trip. Would recommend highly!!!!

Posizione meravigliosa a picco sul mare raggiungibile tramite scalinata dell’albergo. Personale gentilissimo ed attento ai clienti. Camere pulite e silenziose, anche se necessiterebbero di un ammodernamento. Ma per posizione, pulizia, cortesia è sicuramente da provare. Ci torneremo

Buen hotel con buenas vistas al mar, cerca del centro, falta variedad en el desayuno sin frutas y jugo fresco.

Ho trovato la struttura molto comoda e accogliente con una terrazzo ed una veduta invidiabile Il personale, per chi non è medionale, può sembrare invadente mentre l'educazione ed i loro consigli sono stati fondamentali x ottimizzare il poco tempo, purtroppo, trascorso a Lipari Ci rifaremo Grazie a tutti

Malgrado il fatto che l’hôtel era aperto da poco (come tanti hotels, dovuto al covid), abbiamo apprezato tantissimo questi 5 giorni ( luglio) ; un applauso specialmente all’attenzione del personale molto disponible, tutti hanno dimostrato di potere assumere quasi tutte le funzioni essenziali per fare andare avanti l’hotel, con staff ridotto. Piscina ben mantenuta, con accesso privato diretto al mare (pazesco!), navetta porto/hotel, servizio alla grande malgrado le condizioni che conosciamo. La colazione è servita a tavola. La stanza con vista sul mare vale la pena, almeno per una notte. Quando siamo partiti il ristorante non era ancora aperto. Per concludere, direi : Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, lo racomandiamo.

Garten und Poolanlage waren super. Frühstücksraum war Aussicht genial. Leider haben die Toiletten enorm gestunken. Wir wussten nicht, dass man uns am Hafen abgeholt hätte. Preis 2 Euro pro Peron ist günstig. ca. 20 Minuten entfernt von Hafen.

Au calme tout en étant à deux pas du centre ville. Belle piscine, accès privé à la mer. Chambre impeccable. Petit déjeuner à volonté mais pas avec les meilleurs produits. Personnel à l'accueil un peu froid

La possibilità di accedere direttamente al mare con una scaletta è, a parer mio, il punto di forza dell'hotel. Ottima si è rivelata la cucina ed il servizio: pranzo e cena di ottimo livello, piatti non ricercatissimi ma gustosissimi e spessissimo riconducibili alla tradizione culinaria siciliana. La colazione è migliorabile La camera è risultata pulita ma un po' piccola e poco arredata però, l'accesso al mare diretto, e la cucina di cui ho detto, hanno compensato questo piccolo deficit

Das Hotel besticht durch die phantastische Lage direkt am Meer und den Außenpool. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt, allerdings ist das Badezimmer nicht so prickelnd. Wir hatten mit üblen Gerüchen im Bad zu kämpfen, die man auch außen auf dem Flur feststellen konnte. Das ganze Hotel erscheint etwas antiquiert. Leider waren wir fast die einzigen Gäste, weshalb wir uns in dem sehr großen Frühstücksraum etwas verloren vorkamen, was allerdings auch auf die Nachsaison zurückzuführen ist.

Le cadre de l’hôtel à flan de colline est superbe Jolie piscine avec vue à couper le souffle. On ne vient pas dans cet hôtel pour le design car le matériel est vieillissant mais on l’oubli vite tant le personnel est aux petits soins et gentil Je reviendrai avec plaisir, merci pour ces quelques jours

Le site est imbattable. Les jardins et la piscine surplombent la mer, et sont magnifiques. Des terrasses sont aménagées tout au long de l'accès à la mer le long de la falaise. Magnifique. L'hôtel est bien, vaste, et les chambres bien aménagées. Tout est un peu viellot. Personnel courtois et poli, sans plus. Bon petit déjeuner.
