Great location close to the Vatican. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Marta. Decent breakfast. Building and lobby are a bit dated, however, the rooms are spacious modern and clean.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 days...the rooms were renovated, (been here before) the dining area too. Location is excellent, walking distance to St Peter Square, Sistine Chapel, Metro to Termini... Staff area great...helped us with the directions ...Martha and Monica are Wonderful!!! Will be back for the third tine sometimes soon... Oh...breakfast is soo nice...various croissant to choose from....lol

Excellent hotel location. The bathrooms are huge and modern for Italian standards. The breakfast has many options and was good. We were 5 in our group and got 2 rooms and were very comfortable. Best of all, the front desk were always so cheery, helpful and made our stay so great. Will definitely stay here again! Love this place!

Great hotel in a great position. Marta on reception was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, giving us some great suggestions to make the most of our 3 days. Highly recommended.

The front desk girl was so helpful when my son got sick. The night person helped us get a taxi to take us to the hospital emergency room. Don’t ever go to ospedale di santo espiritu. Worst experience ever. Hotel breakfast was amazing with lots of varied options.

The location is perfect, 10 min from train station, Ottaviano, 6-8 min from St Peters Basilica and St Angelo’s and lots of food choices to eat.Bus stop 81 is also 3-5 min walk. The reception are friendly, the room is roomy( family of 4) and the aircon is fab. The breakfast buffet is ok but the same daily and theres no hot breakfast which is normal in Europe I think. We stayed for 5 nights and the only downside is you pay additional for the tax when you arrive which costs us another 115 euro. We found Jollibee which is good for chickenjoy only 6-8 min walk from the hotel. We booked a return journey through SIT bus to and from Fuimicino airport which is around £6 and is about 15 min walk from the hotel. The area was safe and we even stayed during Young Adults Jubillee week.

We had a great stay, thanks to the wonderful customer service and warm hospitality, especially from Monica, our host, she was truly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but we chose it for the excellent location, and it definitely delivered. It’s in one of the best areas for tourists, with easy access to major sites and public transportation. The breakfast, included in the stay, was simple but satisfying, and available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, which was very convenient for our schedule. Overall, a pleasant stay, if the hotel updates some of the interiors, it would be even better!

Very convenient access to Vatican and central Rome

The building is old but well maintained. The staff is friendly.

The biggest strength of this property were the Reception staff - Monica and Marta - who were both always helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The hotel is excellently located for the Vatican City and St. Peter's and within 500 metres of Ottiviano Metro Station. The area around the hotel is relatively quiet and within 200 metres of good bars/ restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and well kept although the facilities in my room lacked being able to make a drink for yourself or somewhere to sit. I would stay at the Grand Olympic again - its strengths far outweigh a few minor improvements.

It is the worsts place I have ever visited mold everywhere, the bathroom is extremely filthy ,a horrible stench ,too dirty. I don’t know how they offer a place like this, they turn off the hot water at night, and the conditions are precarious. My children were scared. The only reason I give one star is that there is no option for zero .. I have always trusted you it’s a shame that you are offering places like this. I have proof, I know everything I’m saying…. Anymore

Nice room for a solo visitor, a bed big enough for two although the mattress was rock hard. Only one usable plug socket which was crumbling off the wall. The shower only ever warmed up to lukewarm at best, but the bathroom was lovely. Great air conditioning unit and plenty of space, very conveniently located right near the Vatican. One downside is that there was construction work being done right beneath me. I’m sure no one else would have noticed but I’d taken ill whilst there and needed to come back to nap in the afternoon and couldn’t do so due to the construction noise. A little warning about this would have been appreciated. The staff, however, were lovely, especially Marta who checked me in and gave a wonderful explanation of the city. I’d stay here again.
