Holiday Inn NAPLES by IHG, an IHG Hotel

I booked this hotel after staying at a different hotel a few nights. In comparison, this was a 4.5 star experience. It was clean, new(ly renovated), great front desk customer service, food onsite, everything (but a pool). It’s in a district suited for warehouses so the roads are sloppy and one directional but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Just catch an u we or use the bird scooters and you’re fine. I’d say the bartenders can be a little lax, but that’s the Italian culture apparently. You have to literally flag them down or go find them for assistance. I just started over ordering during the first I retraction so I didn’t need them to come again.

Mimmo was at reception. He was helpful and friendly. He helped us with directions and assisted us in getting food when we arrived late in the evening.

Could not check in by 2 pm …had to wait for room to be ready even if check in time is officially 2 pm

The front desk staff was so helpful, kind and polite. They ordered my family a taxi to the Naples airport 3 separate times (due to us changing our minds and flight changes) and were never annoyed or rude about it. They were very professional and polite. Our rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

Won’t recommend billed me for the room had to file clams with my credit card company after I informed them it was booked by Expedia and pre paid

The hotel was clean and convenient to other locations. The bathroom in the room needs a little more cleaning and drain. Water would not go down. Other than that would definitely stay again.

We stayed one night and it was very clean, staff were excellent and meals were great.

The area around the hotel is a rundown commercial business center. Not safe enough for my wife and daughter to walk unaccompanied.

Nice option when flying out of Napoli International Airport as it's a 12-minute taxi ride away.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The moment we entered our room, we were hit by a strong smell of urine. We immediately raised the issue with staff, who acknowledged the odor but informed us that there were no other rooms available. While the receptionist and maintenance staff were polite and promised that a manager would follow up, we never heard from anyone — even after we checked out the next morning. The level of customer service was far below what you would expect, especially when paying for what is advertised as a “quality” stay. The restaurant was another major letdown. We were charged €98 for two adults and two children, and when we raised concerns about the freshness of the food, the staff dismissively told us it was made from frozen products. When we requested some form of compensation for the overall poor experience, we were told nothing could be done because we had booked through Expedia. Overall, a terrible experience from start to finish. Save yourself the trouble — stay far away from this hotel.
