Staff was not helpful. The room was very run down, bathroom was horrible, very dirty, mouldy shower and very little to no hot water, advised front desk and was told it would be looked into but it was not. Holes in the wall, electrical until unsafe to use. Overall terrible experience! and would NOT recommend this hotel

Next to the Rome Terminal and nice people running the hotel. But please know that it is in a really bad area. Rooms are super small and beds are very uncomfortable. My bed smelled like food. We didn't sleep all night.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is just old and needs to be updated. The front picture is also deceiving as there was no view of the boats and water. Overall decent for a one night stay near the airport but not anything super nice.

Very good location. Near many restaurants and a supermarket and lovely water area. Room was great, except I wish these hotels would provide a comfortable chair instead of a desk type chair. Great shuttle to airport; city bus from airport to hotel not recommended.

After three weeks of exploring Italy, we stayed at Hotel Academy for our final night because of its convenient location — just about 10 minutes from the airport. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, which made it an easy and comfortable stop before our flight home. The hotel is located in an older building that appears to have undergone remodeling. While it served its purpose well, it could have been cleaner, and the rooms would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Our basic room didn’t include a smart TV, which might be a downside for longer stays, but for a quick overnight visit, it was fine. We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but overall, Hotel Academy was a convenient and practical choice for a short stay near the airport.
